the way it connect to the arm looks weird, unless it's the angle of the shot it looks like it's connected to the arm with just a tube or two, I think the arm should directly connect to the big cylinder

It is but only somewhat. On the Red Pyro his/her left button is darker and more warm colored while the right eye is lighter and cool colored. Other way around on the Blu Pyro.

Get some shades of blue/red/yellow in there as well. I thought it was a ghost at first since it was just a solid color.
should also have some flickering animations for smaller "licks" of flame coming off of it.

Make the figure replace the Equalizer, that way the taunt could be him continuously pressing the chop button but nothing happens, then he steps on it angrily and it explodes :v:

Jiggleboners will work too
make sure you do get a decent UV, as it looks a little odd with no paintstrokes at all (this could use some subtle strokes)
