Like I said, play with the phong to get it similar to the scattergun and/or shotgun, and get some edge highlights in there as well.

I was thinking that the needle would perhaps be fully exposed on the side of the blade next to the blade's mouth and would maybe curve and/or attach to the handle near the end of the blade. It could also be integrated as part of the lower "jaw". The jaw would probably have to be slightly longer however.
i'm tempted to work on a misc to go with my sawblade item. perhaps a screwdriver lodged directly into the engineers chest?

The mannequin one feels completely distant to the "Shugo style." If you're going to choose that one by voter's choice, then please add the other one as an optional one.

The mannequin should just tell where it goes, and not portray itself like it's an item.

Anyway, it's up to you guys how you do it, but the pouch version does sound pretty good.
