best way to do it is all the base colours at once ask if it's okay people will usually say it's too desaturated/whatever then you tweak it then do material definition you're not meant to do one whole piece then move on to the next, you can but doing the base colours first lets you imagine how your final result might look much more quickly

(aparntly) For what it i (whatever it is) it has too many polies. If you dont optimize it, it will be very laggy, and valve probably wont accept it. Heck, I think there is too many there for it even get in the source engine. You need to optimize it. Fact.

Fact.[/QUOTE] Fact, I've been modeling for 3 + years. I know what optimization is, That model is under 7000 polys (The amount allowed for a weapon). Please be quite or learn your shit. (Also keep in mind its very much a work in progress)
