Valve is very busy recently, I must say. I love them even more for their effort and support for the community.
Valve has been moving offices :v:
Too bad the in-game slots have been around a lot longer than the loadout screen has.
Uh, the loadout screens are more recent, so obviously that means they better reflect changes in gameplay. So yeah, sticky launcher is officially Demo's primary now.

I'm sorry, I thought the weapon the Demoman was always using in his video would be considered his primary. The loadout screen has no affect on the gameplay, while the in-game slots do. Grenade launcher is the primary.
But I guess since the loadout screen's more recent, that also means the Spy is a civilian whenever equipped with a watch or hat. Or that the backburner's world model is the normal flamethrower. Or that the Soldier can wear both his default helmet and Bill's hat at the same frickin' time.
No.
[editline]12:53AM[/editline]
If anything, the loadout thing is most likely either one of two things:
1. A bug, a mistake.
2. A reference to Demomen using the stickylauncher as their primary, but not official.

Sticky launcher, Scottish Resistance, and Chargin' Targe are all set to be in the Primary slot. You're wrong, get over it.
Well you got me there, didn't think you'd go to such measures to prove me wrong. Still, grenade launcher makes more sense as a primary. And in-game, the grenade launcher is in the first slot, despite what the scripts may say.
The only things that claim the stickylaunchers/targe are primary have no affect on the game because the grenade launcher is indeed in the first slot in the actual game. Not in some script or loadout screen, and that's just fact.
Think outside the box for a moment. He's a "Demo" man, as in "Demolitions," as in "he breaks stuff." Explosives are the usual connotation, but there are other ways to break things.
The "Engie" is an "Engineer" as in "he builds stuff." So I think that the engie should be able to build a house for each class to live in so that they can have a normal life and a family instead of having an incredibly dangerous, high-paying job with moral and ethical issues. Each class could have a dog and a 2,000 square foot house and two children and struggle to pay their taxes and mortgages on time, despite the number of hours they work and their ridiculously stupid boss. They could make and gossip with friends, go to church (if they're a rainbow-fearing scout), and eat breakfast with their family on Saturdays.

Although I think if this were a weapon, it would be really OP.

It doesn't matter if you think it makes more sense. The Sticky Launcher is his primary weapon. The order doesn't matter. The Spy has his Revolver as Secondary slot weapon, yet it it's in the first slot.
If you still can't get over yourself, e-mail Valve. The Sticky Launcher is primary, the Grenade launcher and Revolver are secondary, it's not a bug, they are placed in that order on purpose.
And if you want proof of them being referred to as Primary/Secondary in the ACTUAL GAME and not just scripts, try crafting The Scottish Resistance or Targe with three other Primary weapons. You'll get a Primary Slot token. Try crafting the Ambassador with other secondary weapons. You'll get a Secondary Slot Token. There you go. Has an affect and mention in-game.
1. Chill the fuck out.
2. The revolver is a pistol, so it's a secondary.
3. I admitted to being proven wrong already, I was just stating the grenade launcher was in the first slot in-game, don't need you coming in starting more shit when it has practically ended.

Take your own advice on step one, there's no hostility from me towards you. I had originally a small modification to one of my sentences, but after posting I realized it was too much on my end. You're actually one of my more favorite posters. I was just offering the crafting solution, and the fact Valve had stated it was not a mix up or bug.
I'm sorry for "starting more shit", I was just trying to bring more information to the table :(
All righty then, sorry if I misunderstood and overreacted. It's all cool now.
I like how they said that the repair station was a heavy handed solution to a problem, yet a few months back they created something called the Razorback.
How the hell is the RB not a heavy handed solution to a common sniper problem?

Because it's easy to kill razorback snipers. Shoot them, or just stab them, the majority dont hear the break.
I still demand a PDQ.
Combat engineering is so much fun, but getting the damn things up is so hard.
A quick dispenser would be great on offense too.
100 metal + 2 whacks and you have a dispensah riiiight here.

My experiences with snipers are people that do notice the break. Am I just unlucky?
My experiences with snipers are people that do notice the break. Am I just unlucky?
I'm pretty sure it's just that other people are extremely lucky, because the few times I've had mine on, and actually had it broken, it was painfully obvious that it was broken. The break sound is very loud and disrupting, unless you're deaf you're going to hear it rip through the sound of other shit going on. I had rockets exploding behind me and I still heard it, and this was before I started using my ear phones.
At the time I didn't do anything about it, though, because there was a level 3 sentry about ten feet from me, facing me. Only thing I ever had to do was go and get a new one. Like 4 times. God, that Spy was dumb.

5. of, pertaining to, or working with explosives: A demolition squad attempted to blow up the bridge before the enemy captured it.
(the first four definitions do not apply, because they are noun forms and "demolition man" uses it as an adjective)
Yeah! Let's bust out dictionary definitions! That'll show those Valve bastards for creating one of the most hilarious and satisfying weapons in the game!!
They actually LIKED that shitty Spy/Pyro video?! That was one of the most boring things I'd ever seen.
Repair node definitely was not an ideal inclusion, so glad to see they didn't stick with that. Still hanging out for a roaming sentry.
Don't try being different and rebellious.
You know you liked it.
Valve LOVES hot spy-on-female black pyro action!
There's gonna be a ton of easter eggs in the next update.

Goldrush Stage 3 final cap, fuck tonne of spam in the choke point, Red snipers on the sniper deck both with razorbacks and are 3 feet away from a level 3 sentry with an engy that's not a retard, They have aimbot like reflexes.
You're snipers cannot set foot into the spam zone to counter sniper them.
Spys cannot do fuck all, you can't even kill just one of them before you get torn to shreads by the sentry.
This is a daily occurance and happens on many maps but some offer better counter snipe positions but the fact that the spy is powerless to do anything against the razorback snipers with half a brain still stands. It was a shit move by valve.
Back on track, i wonder how far along they are on this update.
Nothing like that has every happened to me. it could easily just be my AU servers then.
AU servers have really good demos but shit snipers.

Ever played WoW?
It's good to see Valve is seriously trying to make building replacements as team oriented as possible, with previous updates it was excusable because either A) They were battle classes who could lone wolf it anyway or B) They needed survivability for themselves, but a building like the Repair Node would've seriously fucked over that support niche the engie' so perfectly fills in tf2.
I want something similar to the Buff Banner, but a dispenser. Just make it so you can't upgrade it, and it of course can't hold as much metal, heals a bit slower, and regenerates metal slower, but if you have full ammo and run into a dropped weapon, it gets put in the mobile dispenser.
