Speed won't get you past the sentry, or away from the angry pyro to your side of the map and to a HP pack. Speed won't distract the sentries while a demo plunges some stickies under it. Speed won't let you run into tauntkills for fun or set off sticky traps by twitchy and unpatient demomen.

I never said that it's a crappy weapon, just that it's very tactical for an arcade style game. Besides, I use it to sentry surf.
