But the source engine take something like 7000mg.

If you are sure you have enough space then try going to Steam settings and change the location of the servers to download the game from. Just don't use Germany unless you wanna play TF2 as a robot.

If you only have 7GB of space on your hard drive, you should delete a lot of stuff anyway. You should at least have around 512MB of free space at all times, just in-case.

Do you realize that while hard disk drives have maintained the same physical space for over a decade, that they've gotten more and more capacious over time?

Yes, and that's why I tried to keep things ambiguous and not say any single size (500GB, 600GB, etc.), so that it would be that whoever's doing the math does it with their hard drive space instead of just assuming someone else with a different hard drive would be the same.
Also look at your My Documents. I did the other day and found 20gig worth of crap i saved and downloaded that i didn't really need.
Sometimes it is okay to delete the porn you have downloaded. You can always get more!

That doesn't matter.
The physical space data takes up changes. For one person it could be a near entire platter. For another, it could be a tiny portion of it.
