You guys don't understand, TF2 only takes 3000 milligrams of space.
But the source engine take something like 7000mg. TELL ME IF I'M WRONG!
Right Click TF2 > Properties > Local Files Tells you how big TF2 is.
You magets should have quoted him for epic fail forever
Yes. Such a shame we didnt. Well, I dont know what the problem is, but I will just say: Clean your entire computer. Get CCleaner and PC Decrapifier, they are excellent and they always take away the crap stuff in your PC. To Mr.Yippie: "I talked... just... like... THISSSS!"
Right Click TF2 > Properties > Local Files Tells you how big TF2 is.
Oh... thank you. 8371mg for me. Probably because of the heavy who eat too much sandviches. AHAH I'm so funny. Edit: So yeah you'll need more than 7000mg. Editbis: I got 400+mg of maps... So yeah you'll need more than 7000mg. AHAH I'm so useful!

If you are sure you have enough space then try going to Steam settings and change the location of the servers to download the game from. Just don't use Germany unless you wanna play TF2 as a robot.

invest in a larger hard drive (s)
delete your fat chick, rape, loli, shota, and old guy porn!!!
Interestingly enough, I bet someone could find a way to measure they're computer space in milligrams. Storage takes space - both physical and digital. By knowing how much information can be stored within x cm^2 or in^2, and then the density of whatever material your HDD is made out of (the part that actually stores), you could probably express it in a (b/B/MB/KB/GB/TB)/mg form. Either that or I'm just rambling.
I don't think you know what you're talking about.
Sorry what? If you only have 7GB of space on your hard drive, you should delete a lot of stuff anyway. You should at least have around 512MB of free space at all times, just in-case.
Do you realize that while hard disk drives have maintained the same physical space for over a decade, that they've gotten more and more capacious over time?
Yes, and that's why I tried to keep things ambiguous and not say any single size (500GB, 600GB, etc.), so that it would be that whoever's doing the math does it with their hard drive space instead of just assuming someone else with a different hard drive would be the same.
Also look at your My Documents. I did the other day and found 20gig worth of crap i saved and downloaded that i didn't really need.
Sometimes it is okay to delete the porn you have downloaded. You can always get more!

And hilariously stupid thread title.

The physical space data takes up changes. For one person it could be a near entire platter. For another, it could be a tiny portion of it.
