Whelp, I can't play Egypt ever again. My class on there was Scout,
FaN and BONK!(never useful there, even) for Offense,
and Sandman for Defense, now It's useless.
A sticky point blank does 128 damage, while a rocket is able to, TO ME.

Every goddamned time I'm playing Scout, I go to their battlements and get killed in one hit.
A SINGLE rocket hits me head-on and I die, it's not supposed to DO enough damage. Then a sticky placed 2 feet away is able to kill me, while I can get one on an AFK scout, DIRECTLY under his feet and he'll live, only to suddenly come back and Critbat after taking another grenade.
It's bullshit! EVERYTHING WRONG LITERALLY HAPPENS TO ME!
I really don't get why you people just cant switch to the normal bat instead of complaining about it.

Because the Sandman is actually really unfair to spun-up Heavies.
If the Scout aims well and you're spun up, it's pretty much impossible to dodge the Sandman's ball from mid range (this made Heavy ubers even more useless when the Sandman could stun them).

Not being able to stun ubers makes sense, but why is a gun spinning when you are standing and stunned?
So you get hit with the ball, the scout runs up for the kill, and a guy on your team should kill him.
The Sandman is a terrible concept (the beta testers wanted a complete overhaul on the weapon) and the only way it is balanced now is by making it no fun to use for both the user and the person who got stunned.
I haven't really noticed a difference with the lower health. Rockets still kill me. I still stun people, run to them and shove my large, stiff GUN in their face and jack off buckshots until they are a cartwheeling ragdoll. I can no longer stop ubers, but I barely did that before. The only gripe I got is that I need to run for health/medics/dispensers more, but the double jump is nice to have back.

You're a Scout. Scouts run fast. I can see when a rocket or flare's coming and get out of the way. I can see a Heavy revving his minigun, take out my Sandman, stun him, and beat the crap out of him. It's not hard when you run fast. Stick with a Pyro, and he'll compression blast the stickies and nades back at that Demoman. I took out 3 soldiers in one life as a Scout after the update. It's a matter of learning how to play the class.

Even if he isn't alone, he was effected most by the stun because not only was he the easiest to hit he also had to spin up his gun after.

It's already been said in this thread several times, the Heavy can keep his gun spun up while stunned now.
The Sandman is lovely to use now.
i didn't use the sandman because of the doublejump disable.
i don't use the sandman because of the -30 hp.
