If anything, I think the vertical momentum induced by airblast should be removed or made much weaker on übers, while keeping the horizontal knockback the same. It'd be much more fair.
shove people to the ceiling and hold them there.
especially soldiers.
"shoot a rocket. i dare you!"
That's really boring.
I don't expect them to fix any of that by adding custom animations. Heck, the weapon taunt would work better than just sitting there (stab stab stab)
I'd hope they'd fix the messed up animations for those weapons, but I wouldn't count on it.
Make the sniper offscreen, then run into the zone where classes are usually, then he stops, aims his bows everywhere slowly like in those theater pieces then puts it down and faces the player(center) then it goes to idle animation.
For shortstop just make it an engineer style pistol spin.
For black box they could just recycle the old marketing pose they used in the war update when soldier does the salute.
For fan how about they make it like the demoman animation(starting with the barrel down, scout lifts it up then holds it like in the idle animation)
just throwing out ideas
I honestly believe leveling a strange razorback will be harder than leveling a strange charge.
I think just the taunt (without voice/sound) would work as a lazy-valve style fix, but that doesn't fix the Booties.

Widowmaker isn't useless anymore!

never has been.
60 metal left
pop someone in the face
build dispenser
and a perfect crit gives 180 metal

I was thinking more of a melee animation, but Demoman's melee weapons vary in shape so much that there really isn't an animation that looks okay for all of Demoman's melee weapons.
Like he could stand like he does in the Australian Christmas promo art, with the melee facing down and him leaning on it. That works for a lot of his melees, but would look ridiculous with the bottle/pan/caber/pain train/saxxy.
And I don't think these are the last pair of shoes Demoman is getting, so the solution has to work for any variety of shoes Demoman might get.

All item1 melees for demo (including both the Skullcutter which doesn't have the taunt, and the Persuader despite using different animations) - The end of the killtaunt resuming to an idle.
All "bottle" melees - CHUG, CHUG, CHUG (continual drinking loop)
Caber should be an exploded caber with a smug look on his face (using default melee loop), likewise with the Saxxy except without the exploded part (and the saxxy anims).

make one for short melees and one for long melees.
I reinstall the beta to check these new things.
I open the game.
My backpack has got 1 crate s9 and 1 key.
I unbox the crate just for fun.
I unbox an unusual.
As I said before, I believe that the current refire rate is too forgiving. I preferred the older refire rate because it'd separate the good players from the bad players while, at the same time, not annoying the victims ad nauseum.
At the very least, be a tad thankful that the airblast is restricted to close-range, the same range where ramp-up will destroy the Pyro. It's nowhere near as frustrating as the original Sandman where the Scout could literally run into spawn and back so he could try again at no threat to himself.
Agreed, best proposed solution I've seen is to only give the faster refire on successful reflects, with the old speed being used in every other instance. Really should have been the original change, as it actually separates good Pyros from bad as intended, whereas the one we've got really only makes Pyro easier.
And I remember the old Sandman well, I was an active player back then too :v:

What unusual ? Maybe you can trade it to your normal account with sandboxie ? I dunno.
so yea, anyone got some shots of the clipping with the Noh Mercy.
Last I knew there wasn't a single hat in the entire game it didn't clip with.
From a test way back when the Noh Mercy model just got added:

lol
Someone should see if Laro can edit the model a bit so it doesn't have ridiculous clipping with everything.
What was Valve thinking :/

But there isn't even a single hat it doesn't clip with.
In fact the clipping it had with Spy's face misc items was so minor, it wasn't worth taking minor (and actually alright clipping @ camera beard) and turning it into the clippiest item in the entire game. The Noh mercy now gives the Beak a run for its money.
Also, it seems hats with sunglasses won't let you equip a sunglass misc item. SUF is raging, but I'm honestly a little pleased Valve took that extra step.
Also the ScotRes now has 1 second of prime time instead of .8, meaning it's even slower than before...
uhh...

:I
It seems to only apply to the Hound Dog and Fez
The cloak delay when using the Enforcer was increased to 1 second from 0.5 seconds.
The cloak blink time when using the Saharan Spy item set was increased to 1 second from 0.5 seconds.
I know the first one has been discussed before, but the second one I just noticed. The Dead Ringer works way too well with both of those as it is, they don't need to be worse when not using the DR.
The domination jingle sound is now emitted from the body of the dominated, I think. Atleast it sounds like that.
Try doing it as a Sniper from long range to prove or bust that theory. If volume is unmodified, try it as Demoman with sticky bombs far to your side to find out if jingle pans left/right to further prove/bust that theory.

That'd make it so if you're a Run-N-Gun Enforcer Spy you're spending more time making all kinds of racket while being unable to return fire, and as a Saharan Spy more time in that stage between when you're protected and when you can acquire a disguise.
