Why not just let us equip whatever we want with whatever?[/QUOTE] These restrictions are in place to prevent clipping, like the Blighted Beak and the Berliner's Bucket or the Honcho's Headgear and the Muttonchops. I suggested making the Veil a beard since there's no reason it needs to be a face. they said months ago they were thinking of ways to transfer your found hats from the beta into the real game. But nothing seems to have come from that. Which is a shame, as I found a Dapper Topper in the beta today D:
Why do people keep saying that the Pyromancer's Mask should be a misc? It'd clip with everything.
Is there any real reason that the Bonk Boy is considered a hat? It would look godlike with so many hats

It seems like a stupid idea to add restrictions just because of clipping issues.

Maybe if I saw some pictures I'd be convinced otherwise?
It probably makes it easier for contributors also. Knowing they could make a hat that might cover the eyes a little bit, they can just request Valve restrict face items with it.

It would clip horrendously with basically all of his hats so it shouldn't be made a misc. Same can be said for the bonk boy because of it's fins and possibly the Luchadore if you wear it with the toupe and hound dog.

Encourage more quick sprays and shit, but I know the community will abuse the fuck out of it somehow anyway.

This sadly means it isn't equippable with the Honcho's Headgear - Mask of Shaman is a whole head change, meaning no cosmetics on the face can be worn at all - Same for Dragon Born Helmet - Same for Anger (no more Villain's Veil + Anger) - Some kind of "Expiration Date" was added as an attribute - Most references to sockets have been removed - Steel jaw is a beard lol In my opinion, Valve is aggressively going after bad clipping and making items that don't go together restrictive.
