That would kinda beat the idea because dispenser is mostly very close to the sentry.
I am also almost sure that due to Source limitations listed above, all dispensers on the map would have to show the same output.

Yeah, put one on the teleporters too, so you can get motion sick from it whirling round.

Great idea, except the highlighting enemies. I think anyone can tell if an enemy runs in front of your sentry. Except spies, they always get me.
