reloading animations don't make you unable to fire since one patch a long time ago. there is thus absolutely NO drawback to leaving "always reload automatically" in the advanced multiplayer options :p
The distracting animations are enough of a drawback for me, but yes.
The distracting animations are enough of a drawback for me, but yes.
might as well disable viewmodels entirely then :v:
Pressing the medic button while holding the Equalizer.
Forgetting I can't just light enemy Pyros on fire and then crit them with the Axtinguisher like I do every other class. Actually I've managed to accomplish this a couple times, but you have to be really quick, there's only like a 0.3 second timeframe to switch to the axe and swing.

I don't know why, but I always find myself getting stuck on walls and Map props when going anywhere, even when walking forward. And it's especially annoying when backing into a Map prop and getting scared shitless because you expect a spy to Backstab you right there.
I walk right into rockets sometimes. I don't know why.
Probably posted before, but getting ubered by a quickfix medic and feeling invincible only to die once you rush in.

Forgetting where I placed my sticky bombs
Forgetting where I placed my sticky bombs
Talking about sticky traps, I always say to myself '' I can pass that cluster if I run fast enough'' then Im end in a big pool of blood.
As a demo, I always assume that if I charge at the heavy, ill get to him before he will kill me.
This is always hilarious: "AGH, how did you get on the last point?! Die, die, enemy-who-wears-my-team-colors... wait a second." (Mostly due to the common HUD color bug, though.) And another classic: *Healing another teammate* "Hmm, that very close teammate looks suspi-" *Sidestab*
Underestimating shotgun Heavies. Rare and awkward looking though they may be, there's always one that catches me by surprise when I get too cocky with my Equalizer.
my hud was once like this: im on red. it shows my current class as blu. my cloak meter is red. my ammo and health are blu. "am i on team purple or something?"
Taking targets of opportunity as medic. Hilarious as a solemn vow kill is, I die too much as a result. Attempting to play spy or sniper. Attempting to play demoknight. I am terrible at all these things. [editline]15th September 2011[/editline] Attempting to heal those GODDAMN RAKE PYROS "I have the quick fix this should be over by nohgoddamnit"
Running into the enemies Intel room unaware that it has a full on Engy nest, die, try to take it out for the team, die, try again, die, change class, die, change class again, die, try aga-WHYTHEFUCKDOESTHISNEVERWORKAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGH! Equipping the Sandman then forgetting to use it
standing in one place as a sniper.
Can't kill a Heavy when i'm a Scout
Running towards a Soldier/Demoman who's shooting their rockets/grenades at me. ...as a scout.
When I play soldier(all the time), I forget to warn my medics that I am simi suicidal and will willingly run into rocket and nade fire. Pros: I am a fucking god at dodging rockets now. Cons: My medics are not. I also have a habit of not using my shotgun
I get lost on every map. Including Harvest and Convoy.
Feeling like running in circles. Anyway i have one thing: if i being autobalanced and directly spawned, i would shoot on my own team where i'm then in instead the other team (once tried to cap mine team's intel). And i once didnt know that i was the saxton hale boss in that saxton boss gamemode, i wondered why everybody was running away from me, till somebody over the mic explained why all those scouts (and others) where running from.
playing as a scout, quad-jumping and forgetting to look in which direction I'm quad-jumping in
Whenever I'm ubered my aiming ability suddenly drops from "kinda good" to "blindfolded Michael J Fox".
Picking up and putting down sentries so they get destroyed during the rebuilding process, and that the sentry was fine where it was before.
everytime I'm spy and get lit on fire, I immediatly cloak. and I have the enforcer on top of that I constsantly forget I have to redisguise when not using my eternal reward, I'll backstab someone, then immediately go for another person without bringing my disguise back up.
A good spy has the binds to change his weapon for his disguise.
"hmm why is that medic carrying around a syringe gun, eh" *SPY HAS BACKSTABBED -SNIPER 1 -SNIPER 2 -HEAVY COMING OUT OF SPAWN god damnit
Running towards a Soldier/Demoman who's shooting their rockets/grenades at me. ...as a scout.
Never run backwards when fighting a demoman. Keep a midground or rush him, because his grenade launcher will catch you if you retreat.
