and yes, alliteration is a tad cliche, hence the "name pending" thing
Alliteration should be mandatory for spy hats though.
The [insert flashy title here] is still okay to use, but it's also becoming cliche. You may just want to give it a bland, unoriginal name like they did with the sandwich or the flare gun. The only problem is that it's an original idea, so maybe an unoriginal name wouldn't fit.
About names, I personally think "The Pain Train" would have been a much better name for the equalizer, as its stats are dependant on how much pain ie. damage you have suffered.

I don't know, with the Pain train you capture "as fast as a train" and the equalizer fits the weapon quite nicely because the better your opponent is (the more damage you take) the better you will do - leveling the playing field.

Yeah I didn't word that very well, I didn't mean The Equalizer should've been called The Pain Train, just that the name "The Pain Train" is better fitting for the Equalizer than the actual "Pain Train", as in the Pain Train's stats don't really combine with the name well; especially the pain part has nothing to do with it; except that you feel more pain from bullets, but that's a bit farfetched imho. Something like "The Cap Club" or another clever name relating to the fact that it caps quickly would've been better (the meaning that it caps "like a train" is a bit farfetched as well).

Didn't mean it to come off wrong, I just think that some of his hats do fit into TF2, not all of them.
