Well I just painted it, so yes. I couldn't paint the uuh, Hotrod though.

If you view the details of an item, it'll tell you what can be used on it. Everything can accept a name tag, but only some items can be painted.

Wow. I just got traded a crate, a chargin' targe and a dead ringer for nothing and I didn't get any of it after the trade, and he lost all the stuff as well.

Can you "un-paint" painted items? Does it give you the used paint back?

I have 3 supply crates via random drops. Tempting.

I think the supply crates drop a lot.

supply crates drop as commonly as weapons. They are just there to tempt people in to buying keys and trading. however the only things you can get from crates are cosmetic only. The three things that are crate only is, white paint, black paint and the ultra rare hats. But the particles on the rare hats are broken, leading to someone running around with a plasma irradiated dick.
