*"baaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwww" I don't have hat after 2 days* Don't complain before it passes over a couple hundred hours Besides, most calculations I've seen says that 6 six days is the "100% guaranteed to get a hat"-time AND based on the old system with the new hats added, the rate of getting a hat is one per 75 dupes. So that means 73 dupes to go for you! I'm sure I had around 2-300 hours of idling before I got a hat
2 days, 2 items, shit DOES suck for him.
Idling? What's that?
Idling? What's that?
There is a thread about it on here somewhere. Its a program that simulates playing tf2, so you still pick up items when not playing tf2.
There is a thread about it on here somewhere. Its a program that simulates playing tf2, so you still pick up items when not playing tf2.
Why would you want to do that? Isn't it more fun to actually play the game yourself?
Why would you want to do that? Isn't it more fun to actually play the game yourself?
You use this when you ain't playing, like when browsing facepunch, watching porn, play other steam games etc
You use this when you ain't playing, like when browsing facepunch, watching porn, play other steam games etc
I got that but why?
I got that but why?
People want hats, this program has been harmless so far, so we are willing to use it.
People want hats, this program has been harmless so far, so we are willing to use it.
You buy the game, use the program, just for hats? :\ You have disappointed me.
The program's useful if you are on a shitty machine that can't run TF2 without lag and you don't have access to your more powerful machine that can run TF2. Plus with the idler, you can simply idle and go AFK/do shit outside or run errands.
Nobody cares about my four hats? ;_;
I don't idle anymore as the only thing I got were the Killing Gloves of Boxing.
You have disappointed me.
Oh no. How will he ever live with himself now. :downs:
You buy the game, use the program, just for hats? :\ You have disappointed me.
No, you buy the game, have fun playing the game. When your not playing the game, you idle for hats, just do it if you think its worth it in the end. We still have fun playing the game, just want a hat. Its not hard, you just leave your comp on when your not at home, or on it, but give it some rest once in a while.

Like increase stats or something? I have two, one for the demo and one for the soldier but I don't use those classes. I never knew I got them. But there must be something special about them.
Goddamnit I already have 80 dupes and no hat.
Idler: 681 dupes, no hats.
Idler: 681 dupes, no hats.
Woah that sucks.
I haven't gotten a damn right for god knows how many dupes, at least this idler get me items, I never actually unlock shit while playing TF2 legit
Ubersaws aplenty :[
No hats. Lots of dupes. I want the rubber glove
Idler: 681 dupes, no hats.
How did you count it? One by one? I wanna know how many I have.
How did you count it? One by one? I wanna know how many I have.
thats possible, but probably because he stored what he found in the items.txt file and checking how many lines he has
No, the item count goes over the limit then it asks you to delete items when you go in game.
This seems more reasonable, as if someone unlocked a hat, then forgot to set the setting on, and they would lose it, I'd think they would be pretty pissed. I hope that's the case, because I don't want it deleting random dupes, and let my choose my own.
