Pretty much every SFM video you'll find will stem from Facepunch.
I don't think Facepunch is the only community that has it's hands on SFM.
I don't know why, but I laugh every time I see that one where the engineer walks out, sees a sentry farm and various enemies, turns around and says "nope."
Link.

I've noticed that when I turn my wireless adadpter off, SFM runs much better with no connection to the internet. Maybe it's just my computer, but it works for me... On another note, does anyone know if the eyes of a model are associated directly with another part of a model? I can't get my Heavy's eyes to look at the camera. His head and neck are turned toward it, but his body is at more of a 45-80 degree angle from the camera.

AKA the eyes are fixed at a certain X Y Z point and can only move in a certain amount of space (110 left and 45 up and down for example).
A list of good Facepunch-made SFM videos would be cool. I particularly liked the Engie throwing the wrench at the Spy Sniper. Even if they are shorts, there still seem to be some good ones and I don't want to sift through 23 pages to find them. :P
If you didn't know the same guy makes alot of other shorts.
You have to use bots to trigger the sentries, during the same recording. Speaking of which, is there a command to stop sentries from noticing enemies? If so, you could just place a bot where the heavy will appear, then bind a key to re-enable sentries seeing enemies. Once done we just remove all the extra bot models.
there is a command for that, but it's hidden and the only way you could change it is with sourcemod it's tf_sentrygun_notarget 0
there is a command for that, but it's hidden and the only way you could change it is with sourcemod it's tf_sentrygun_notarget 0
how do i add bot in SFM???
how do i add bot in SFM???
bind commands to keys. Like so, "bind *key of choice* *console command here*" so... "bind k kill"
bind commands to keys. Like so, "bind *key of choice* *console command here*" so... "bind k kill"
what does that have to do with adding bots???
how do i add bot in SFM???
bot_add i think, and then -team for what color, and -class for which class, so for example "bot_add -team red -class scout" correct if wrong someone

Alright, I'll try sourcetool registry cleaner.
What is this cleaner tool and how do I use it?
Well, SFM seems to be miraculously working again, without me doing a thing. Anyway. How do I replace animations? I have a friend who wants an animated GIF of the spy crab taunt from SFM, but I have to replace the existing Spy Taunt in order to make it work.
It's working for me too. I didn't do anything. lol Edit: custom maps aren't working for me now. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU

The animations are stored in spy_animations.mdl
And now it's not working again... hmm... Maybe I did something.
what does that have to do with adding bots???
Are you retarded or what? Do you know what a console command is then?
Are you retarded or what? Do you know what a console command is then?
ure teachingme the syntax of binding commands.. not how to add bots in a map...

Are you going to make a Pokemon battle, cause that'd be pretty cool.
Are you going to make a Pokemon battle, cause that'd be pretty cool.
I was thinking about it actually lol. Except now when ever I load a map on SFM it crashes anybody have some ideas for a fix? :(
To anyone that might be crashing while attempting to load maps. I think I found a solution. I had to unplug my router. For me, every time I want to load a map, I have to unplug my router.
I'm away from my computer and the only access I have to SFM is over Teamviewer. Damn.
Solution found, I think! If your SFM is crashing on map load then delete or rename tf/motd.txt.

[editline]07:48PM[/editline] I just tried you're solution first Metroid and it worked! :D [editline]09:08PM[/editline] Is there anyway to fix the error for the saw blades as seen in the video below? Can I just extract all the models from my GCF and put them in the beta folders?
