You just see them standing around doing nothing, put them on bottom of your priority list, and then they just shoot a single fatal crocket, or when you're at 1HP and they take out SMG while standing 5 miles away and one bullet finishes you off, and stuff like that.

I realize, the enemy has have two demomen who backtrack and blindfire stickybombs as a tactic. Worse off, the enemy medics are lording over these fellows as if they're the epicenter of the team. Normally, I can wreck these types - but low and behold, these smug shit-eating individuals have an actual team to back them. Now that team? I have nothing against them. They're just doing their job. But the ol' M1-M2 mashing frenzy of stickybomb demoman is not something I enjoy or can even easily counter. Dead Ringer spies? You just hunt them down and deny them metal - they're usually very predictable. Airblast spamming pyros? Just wait for an opening or use projectiles. Heavy and medic combo? Just rut the medic or out damage the heavy while avoiding damage. But demoman. Oh, those backtracking demomen. I'm not talking about the ones who rush in with some pipes and scream glory. I'm not talking about the ones who sit back with their little traps and wait like a trapdoor spider. I'm only talking about the ones who aimlessly spam an entire magazine of the stickybomb launcher and then retreat while crying medic. The reason I hate this so, so much? My best way to counter it is to become it. I've almost racked up quadruple-digit hours as Demoman - I can usually outspam these people easily, even more so with a medic on my back. The problem for me is, Demoman is just pathetically easy in this playstyle to the extent of being boring. I don't want to play Demoman, I want to mess around as one of the other eight classes - but ohhh no. If my team can't get a grasp on how to counter these bomb-lobbing simpletons, I have to always step in and do it. Valve, I've been playing since you gave me this lovely game all those years back. I sank literal months into Demoman. Can we please at least beta-test some ways to make his original trap weapon into something less akin to a eight-round air-burst arc-loving 125hp-killing monster? Pretty please? /rant

Valve's been fiddling with it for ages, but there's always that slight touch of overpowered to it. But here's what I think: The best of the Sticky Launcher, setting traps, controlling the battle, and blowing up stationary (Sentry nests) or unaware (Rambo Heavies and their doktors) targets is already embodied in the Scottish Resistance. Even the slight increase in the bomb arm time makes it inefficient for spamming at aware enemies, and the selective detonation encourages using it to control the enemy as intended for the vanilla Launcher. But replacing a vanilla weapon with a unlock weapon, especially one potentially confusing to the new - about as likely as a unusual Gibus. (Just saying though - any offensive class is annoying if they have a dedicated pocket. Except of course Scout, though I've been meaning to get creative with the Quick-Fix...)

Honestly seeing any hat people get for free fills me with a bit of hatred. Hat's have consumed me. I'd rather see no hat than a damn gibus or paper hat that you only got cause it's free.

And add some sweetners on them for good measure. They always prefer a nice unusual, like a Burning Team Captain. In other words, fuck you (hardcore who rip everyone off) traders. Onto my annoyance, there's this smartarse on this server I frequent whom plays Saharan Spy almost constantly, and calls all his deaths 'bullshit' and has a temper tantrum about it. Sure I can mute him, but sometimes I find it funny to have his whiny voice on mic crying about how that critical was bullshit and he didn't pull his DR out in time and blames the game for bad controls. I think one time he wasn't Spy I dominated him for whatever reason and he went Spy and went out of his way to kill me, and bragged about how much he was pro at Spy and that I sucked at being Scout. Most times though I get a laugh out of him whining to other people. Still, it could've been worse - it could've been DR + Enforcer + Spycicle. Long story short, trash talking idiot.

When people try to buy things and you state they aren't for sale so many times but they just keep offering even when they're offering the same exact item with no change at all If I didn't want it the first time why would I want it the 23rd time?

Random mid battle trade popups that result in your death. I have them turned off most of the time for this reason.
