hale isn't that tactical, take it from someone who has never died as hale (myself)

you just run out and slap everyones shit while spamming superjump and you cant lose, mix that in with airstrafing and bhopping and you're good to go

but yeah, you should always kill engineers first because they're the #1 reason hale ever loses

On the subject of annoyances while playing as Hale: arena_granary. First, Pyros will airblast you off the crates as you jump up to them. This is so the Engineers can build Sentry Guns on top of all of the cargo containers. Once this happens you're basically screwed as your rage mode can't reach all of the Sentries at once, and if you do get up on the crates you will be blown off somehow. I only saw one victory for Hale on this map, and that was when one Engineer fell off before he could make a Sentry and the other one decided to walk across the control point rather than jump on a container. Rest of the time either Hale goes off for a sulk outside the spawn room or he is propelled into the air like a manly Australian firework until death.
