I miss when keys were worth less than a refined. Very start of mannconomy, when they were equaling to a hat, which was 1 refined at that time, a bunch of people yelled "It's fucking ridiculous that a key is worth a hat", and for about a week? It was worth just under. Oh good times, good times.
The economy Why did they make hat price less than 3 refined? Now there is more metal than hats on the market and it id starting to fuck the market imo
I remember when they were a key and I thought that was ridiculously expensive
THATS NOTHING, I REMEMBER WHEN THEY WERE LESS THAN 1 RECLAIMED

This whole economy thing. it's a game
WHY IS WHITE/BLACK PAINT SO DAMN EXPENSIVE ?! OH HERE I AM THINKING IT MIGHT BE 3 MAYBE 4 REF, BUT 6 AND 7?! GO EAT A DICK.
Makes me wish some rich kid came along, bought thousands of black and white paints and just sold them for one or two scraps each. Or everyone who had more than one of each promotional item started sharing their riches with random people on servers, so that they wouldn't be so hard to come by. (Or Valve could just go all in and make all promotional items random drops and craftable. :v:)

I mean, it's like new money is being printed every wednesday, and anyone can print it. Then you can't spend it on essential things like food, only useless things like hats/miscs/weapon reskins. These are being pumped out of thin air too. Then Valve fucks it up occasionally with BMOC's and craftable ellis caps. It just fails at making sense at it's basis.
The default stickybomb launcher. No, not when I'M weilding it. Everyone's fucked. But when an enemy player is extremely good woth the thing it's just hnnnnnnnng
>Searching a dirty pillar on TF2Outpost. >See the perfect trade, but someone as already posted an offer on it. >Looking at the guy who want that pillar too >4 pillar in his bp. me sad.

But when an enemy player is extremely good woth the thing it's just hnnnnnnnng
It takes about three minutes against a skilled Demo (yes I said skilled Demo) to make my brain go "Really VALVe? I know y'all hate to test but did you honestly not see this coming from ten thousand miles away six years ago in development?" Any schmuck can spam stickies, but when someone really knows what they're doing (and can hit pipes) it's just miserable to go up against.
yeah a demo that really knows how to use both of his launchers (esp the sticky) can make a game get old real fast always has been that way, especially before it got nerfed yes F2Pers it used to be even MORE powerful
When my computer decides to shit on me and suck at running tf2, even with an fps config that makes it look like minecraft.

How is it humanly possible to be horrible at sticky spamming ._. I sure love TFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
FuryBlitz just gave me a pillar. Tnx buddy :3
so I was just playing TF2. I saw a video of OMFGNinja using the Saharan Spy set, and it made me all nostalgic (I got TF2 right before the Mannconomy update and the Fez was the first hat I ever crafted. had the full Saharan Spy set within a month, nothing bought), so I hopped on and started playing Saharan Spy. BUT, I changed one important thing: I used the Timepiece instead of the Dead Ringer. holy shit you guys, I started kicking ass and taking names like an ill-mannered secretary. I was 11-3, tons of destructions, dominations; it was possibly my best game as Spy EVER. I stab a Sniper, take his form, spot a mini sentry, pull out my sapper aaaaaaand... Engineers that use the Wrangler with the Gunslinger and expect that to be able to hold an area for extended periods of time.
Engineers that use the Wrangler with the Gunslinger and expect that to be able to hold an area for extended periods of time.
Considering it's easy as fuck to do that you'd have to be a pretty terrible engineer to be bad at it.
It grinds my fucking gears when i get critted from a demo that was spamming and not even in my direction. It bounces around, magically ends up under my feet, and blows me to bits.
>Killed by random crit pipe >Killcam zooms in on demo on the opposite end of the map doing fuck all with that fucking grin
There we go
Considering it's easy as fuck to do that you'd have to be a pretty terrible engineer to be bad at it.
But they're holding an area as a Gunslinger Engineer. Why not just use the normal Sentry if you want to defend something?
But they're holding an area as a Gunslinger Engineer. Why not just use the normal Sentry if you want to defend something?
It's usually fast paced and that loadout keeps up. Throw in a Frontier Justice and you're usually guaranteed to hold for quite a while.
But they're holding an area as a Gunslinger Engineer. Why not just use the normal Sentry if you want to defend something?
I like using the Minisentry as a sort of short term denial strategy a minisentry couldn't really hope to stop say a Heavy or a soldier but it's relatively powerful and can do some damage if supported while staying cheap as hell to replace
Im so pissed off oh my god. The range for the bosses on VSH is just fucking ridicilous. Its obviously not meant to be like that and just ruins everythingggggg /rage
Im so pissed off oh my god. The range for the bosses on VSH is just fucking ridicilous. Its obviously not meant to be like that and just ruins everythingggggg /rage
Haven't played VSH in a while... How many Bosses are by the way?
Haven't played VSH in a while... How many Bosses are by the way?
In my opinion its really fun. .. but the range of those fists man. I mean, they look short, but in reality they are 3-5 meters long
Rocket jump onto a high spot in foundry, find huntsman sniper up there. Shoot rocket and blow him up. "HA, EAT THAT YOU F-*THUNK*" Goddamn arrow in head.
This whole economy thing. it's a game
Especially with those keys. They shouldn't be soaring at 2.66 ref like they do, they should just remain at the nice 2.33 ref price. When I trade with people, I ask why do they find selling keys at 2.66 ref legit. They just go "inflation, spreadsheet told me hurr durr". It's not like keys are running out of stock or becoming more than $2.49. And inflation is caused by rise in the cost of production and materials. It's not like someone manufactures the fucking virtual keys by hand and is increasing the cost of his services.
You want to know what's annoying? Not being able to reach that damn itchy spot
I was playing a game earlier today and we had three medics, me included. Sounds like jubilee-celebration time, right? No. They followed me around and healed everyone that I was healing. It was so annoying I just played Soldier instead.
