Stuff that annoys you in TF2: ern is a faggot edition
There are a lot of 'cheap'er things in the game, especially when a bodyshot doesn't do that much damage unless fully charged, Machina especially, and even then it can't kill a Soldier or Heavy with one shot.
A Sniper who actually charges his shot to do enough damage to kill someone with a bodyshot when he can't safely get the headshot is pretty much doing his job as intended.
Thing is he can get a headshot safely when you are predictably moving, slow target. It mostly happens when I'm leaving the battle scene injured, not rocket jumping to save up some hp in case of surprise Scout, and then boom, charged bodyshot from the Machina. Everyone can play sniper like that, it's as easy as point and click adventure game. I don't know about you guys, but I always aim for headshots.

Injured players and HPT are what the Snipers are supposed to be killing though.. Either way, head or bodyshot, you're dead.
In short, Colour is a bodyshotter.

Why does this matter for so many people?
Not sure, probably because you killed them, and expected some 'skills' doing so? I don't understand honestly with those people.
At least you don't play as jarate sniper, i keep getting shit talks, over how i want to play.
In short, Colour is a bodyshotter.
Are you ShAd0w KN1f3R?
No. As I said bodyshotting in certain situations is perfectly understandable, but your efforts to convince me it's a perfectly fine not at all cheap tactic make me believe you aren't the best sniper around. It can be efficent, it still kills, but it is and will be cheap no matter how you look at it. Even Tomislav + Sandvich + GRU Heavy doesn't compare, and he is at least useful to his team.
Why headshot someone when you know a bodyshot would kill them? I don't get the hate over bodyshots either, though I have to admit, getting taken down from full health as a Demoman or Pyro by a fully charged Machina bodyshot is kind of annoying.
Because bodyshotting is piss easy and cheap way of getting kills as an already cheap class, but it's understandable against Scouts. Those spastic gremlins move so much aiming for headshot would be waste of time usually.
But I hate being killed by bodyshots when I'm playing a slower class, like Soldier or Heavy, and Machina makes it easier than ever.
All I'll say is that I want to punch snipers that would rather miss a medic than denying his full uber through a bodyshot. I've had snipers explicitly saying that on my team before, that they don't want to "go down to the level of a bodyshotter". Super 1337 sniper elitists in general fits this thread perfectly, the ones that will spend more time bitching about people doing ANYTHING but lighting-fast headshots across the map than killing medics.
And then the enemies uber and we lose.
If I have a full charge ready (which is rare anyway besides oblivious heavies) and I feel like I can't headshot easily, I'll just deal the 150 damage and either kill the guy or at least make him easy for my team to finish. And scout, it's YOUR fault that you enter the FOV of a sniper with a full charge. A kill is a kill in the long run.
However, NEVER going for headshots at all (unless using the Sydney Sleeper, obviously) is just nerfing yourself as a sniper so such snipers annoy me for entirely different reasons :v:
Even though I really don't like those constantly full-charge bodyshotting 175 hp classes hoping that damage spread gives them a OHOK with the Machina.
EDIT: I could really just say "Bodyshots are okay, bodySHOTTERS are annoying" and leave it at that. A bodyshot is just a tool in the sniper's arsenal, a bodyshotter is that guy constantly bodyshotting with the machina that will never improve.

Bodyshotting a charged medic jumping and strafing, bodyshotting a charging soldier while he's reloading and pushing your lines, bodyshotting a disguised spy that your team doesn't see.
Totally not useful.
If you honestly think that bodyshotting is an incredibly cheap tactic then I'm going to say you haven't played TF2 since the last 6 or so big updates.
I don't think bodyshots are cheap. I don't really see how they are cheap.

Well, that's pretty much my point the last line. If I see a charged Medic, I'd bodyshot him too, but some people don't even try to headshot at all, just camp in one far spot, charging their rifles and occasionally dying to Spies. Sure, you can counter that by going Sniper or Spy yourself, but I don't really like changing my class just because some guy is being pretty much useless to his team, killing one person a minute.
I don't think bodyshots are cheap. I don't really see how they are cheap.
Because people think that as a sniper you should always headshot enemies even though you are not able to.

Bad players are bad players. Trying not to headshot and aiming only for bodyshots is his decision, and you yourself said he was useless getting a kill a minute. It's not cheap at all if you don't get anywhere with it, it's just bad strategy on the guy's half.
Ironically I much prefer the Bazaar Bargain.
Stuff that annoys you: Bodyshot edition
All pyro tactics except puff+sting and airblast+reserve shooter/detonator/flare gun
[editline]5th January 2012[/editline]
And spies that notice it starts to go bad on their side and desperatly uncloak and keep stabbing all the got when they have an ambassador they can switch to and easily kill with.

Ah, the infamous sub-species of sniper, the "4th Sniper". Good to see we agree when it comes to those guys :P
But agreed. Headshots ARE the sniper's strongest tool and to be a decent sniper that's where most practice on the aim-side of things should go. I just despise those who have a superiority complex and refuse to bodyshot not because it's less effective in the long run, but because "It's for f2p scrubs!" or some other charming and slightly retarded reason.

Well, it gets annoying when such guy brags about his super awesome kill ratio with 2 deaths and 20 kills tho. Anyway, I see more Snipers going for headshots nowadays anyway, if you insist to bodyshot people with Bazaar Bargain, I can't stop you.
I remember that thread.
Could I have the original image please?
Yeah sure.
I hate that the game takes 10 minutes to start, 5 minutes to load the first map, only to join just when the round ends and it goes back to loading. Only to be greeted by another minute of start-up time. Let me play the game already!
Also, this happens to me too often when I'm playing pyro.

The flaw in your plan is that you need to spend atleast 5$, so 5 ref is cheaper
I remember back in October, I went on various Manor servers, and I once came across a guy who said something to the effect of "sydney sleeper sucks because it can't get headshots." I disagreed, and pointed out that a fully-charged bodyshot will kill almost every class. He went on to talk about how using the bushwhacka makes you a shit sniper and how Pyros are only good if you're puff n' stinging.
Actually, i really don't like the whole "w+m1 shit pyro" thing. You're given a flamethrower for a reason: to burn shit. I really enjoy running Phlognostigator+Manmelter, because all things considered, I find it really fun to chase people down and burn them the whole way.
If anything, "Puff-'n-Sting" Pyros are even cheaper than W+M1 Pyros. Especially Pyros that just airblast you into the air and killing you with fall damage. I'd take a W+M1 Pyro any day.
So I win an all to one raffle with a 1.02% chance of winning, get denied for not having 168 rep.
The prize was a pair of standard weapons with nothing special about them.

You should tell the guy to fuck off. Weapon raffles with high rep requirements are made by douches, sorry if a fellow Facepuncher held the raffle.

And the worst part was that he didn't even say what the requirement was, he just said (and I quote) "The rep req is the red of the last one in this raffle. A2O cuz Im lazy. Enjoy" error and all.
I love bodyshoting, as I love headshoting. They rage with both. Especially when I take cover and taunt after every time I kill them.
I can get 14 heads streaks with the Bazar, but... their HATE feeds me :v:
