but my point is that not enough people actually think things through if they know they're up against a heavy with the tomislav, so they just do the same old shit they always do and end up getting rocked and then they bitch to valve. tomislav heavy is a different type of heavy gameplay. it changes the class. if you can't change your OWN way of playing YOUR class to counter that, and you can't expect it and prepare for it, then you will get killed. a lot. and not just by tomislav heavy i assure you that.
I hate to assume that you're playing against shit heavies and I'm sure you are a fine player and a respectable person but I think you're playing against shit heavies.

I get hostile when people are bad at arguing about video games. :c

So obvious troll posts on SPUF amount to that person being unreasonable. Makes sense.

They're serious if you want them to be.
Jesus were those threads serious?

Of course, he's already written them off as "obvious troll posts", but he could have also taken the approach of denying they were him or telling us nobody should listen to me or anyone in my IRC channel because we play LoL and that we should all "die grisly deaths" because of this.
EDIT: For the record, I am extremely pleased with these changes.

I was making a jab at Minwu.
The attack/defense/support is not quite accurate to begin with, the classes are far more flexible than that. Having 5 combat classes, 2 support classes, and 2 elimination classes is a better way of getting all 9 classes described in 3 groups.

FLANK:
Spy
scout
pyro
STRIKERS:
Demo
Heavy
soldier
BACKBONE:
Engineer
Medic
Sniper
Oddly enough, all of the backbones have a alternative offensive playstyle (Piss/piss knife/bow, Bluts/quick fix/ubersaw, and widow/pistol/gunslinger)

That make sense... Sniper doesn't really fit the Backbone class, but there wouldn't be anywhere else to put him.

Yea, that's what i was thinking.
I'd honestly rather see Frontline/Backline categories instead.
They might be uneven but it would be a better way to sort them.
Sandvich should have been Nerfd to small medkit health amount.
Enforcer im okay with.
I dont even see people using tomislav anymore.
[editline]30th January 2012[/editline]
Re read enforcer. Unable to see enemy heath?
ARE THEY MAD?
Sandvich shouldn't be nerf as even though Heavy can still eat it, removes a play style from him. If you need to do anything just reduce the health he gains from it(as suggested by a few of us) and buff/maintain the health given to teammates on pickup. How about a strange sandvich already as well, would be nice if it did something extra like count teammates healed or something, though that may be considered too 'medic' like.
Looking at the nerfs, you guys didn't nerf the enforcer enough. When I go spy and have the enforcer out, I don't need to know what your health is. You'll still most likely be 3 shots.
The only thing that's gonna happen is that the enforcer is still going to be an amazing weapon but the masses will think its fair because there are some non existent nerfs on it.
Losing the ability to see enemy health is a lot more significant than most people think. The enforcer is a bad weapon and this change will cater to a bad playstyle for bad spies: playing spy as if it's a combat spy with the enforcer/DR combo. In the hands of any self respecting spy who wants to maximize efficiency and play the class as it was intended, it's completely useless.
e: that's how I see it anyway
Yes because something that allows you to go head to head with a heavy is obviously a poor choice.
Yes because something that allows you to go head to head with a heavy is obviously a poor choice.
It's not a poor player-side choice per se, it's just really poorly designed. Nerfing the stats in slight directions won't fix a fundamentally flawed weapon, design-wise.
That being said, if it's intended to be in the game, then by all means, use it. I just wish Valve would take a little bit of time to think through and test their gameplay choices before implementing them.

Bad play style =/= bad spies.
The Enforcer/DR combo is effective. Taking away the ability to see health will be but a minor annoyance to good players. Every other class does just fine without seeing how much health the opponent has.
Also, have to completely disagree with "maximize efficiency" and "play the class as it was intended". Spies that take their time, and spend more than 10 seconds standing still hoping to catch someone on the end are useless. I rather have a duel threat spy, one that can get in your face, get shots in, dead ring, and then get shots in from behind you.
I also hate Gunslinger and KritzKrieg.
Oh come on now! We like these weapons. With Gunslinger I feel like I am a part of the team that fights instead of sitting in a base doing nothing but sit next to the lvl 3 sentry and as for Kritzkrieg i can give a free crit for a Soldier or Demoman to wipe out many people when the round starts so Engineers have much time needed for building a strong defense.
I hate Enforcer because it changes Spy's playstyle from Stealth Assasin to Stealth Fighter. I also hate Gunslinger and KritzKrieg. New playstyles are awful and break the game and we should focus on giving the classes more reskins and "+x% -y%" weapons.
The sarcasm is strong in this one.
After this update the Ambassador is going to be the best again. Seriously, instant crits? Fuck yeah. Also no other revolvers can do the same damage on demand.

The sandvitch nerf is freaking dumb if they want to nerf weapons start with the stock minigun and the phlog.

No it doesn't while it manages to kill 3-4+ people on dm_duel compare that to the scout who can only kill 0-1 per life.
