This is where me and my buddies play, the servers are based in the UK, everyone starts joining around 15:00 GMT. I know that few people play arena, but if you're looking for competent players( Most of the time) this is the place to go.
The only mod is a rank one, it has random crits turned off (Arena House 1 and the Duel House have a crit vote though)

The 4chan Party-van server is also a nice server to be in, if you don't mind the mic-spam and porno-sprays everywhere that is (mind you that they often play techno, country, and classical- they are huge fans of frank sinatra). Many players I've noticed are [i]extremely[/i] good, like MLG types. It's quite bumfounding.
I join it mainly because I love mic-spamming, and it's one of the few servers that let you do so.

Low gravity is always on, and so is instant respawn. It's a great server to just dick around and have a good time.
I love the GTFO servers. I'm usually at #01, it's a great server, and once you get to know the regulars it's actually great fun. The only bad thing is that you can be kicked for a reserved slot, but you can donate to get a reserved slot, or use GTFO points you earn by spending time on the servers to get a reserved slot for 1 week.

Fun servers all in all. The TF2ware + Misc server has some nice benefits over other non-original tf2 gamemodes, like the usage of Advanced Weaponiser weapons (yes, you can use weapons in THAT server you've gotten from the OTHER server).
Advanced Weaponiser is also really fun.
I've yet to try the DIY server, though. It looks promising.
Anyone know some servers with the (tolerable) quality of FPUK1 and sv_pure 0? I fucking hate when i enter a server and every voice command is earrape.
Yeah, that. I've got so many sound (I revoiced the entire pyro when I was bored), models and particles mods that I instantly crash whenever I try to join a sv_pure 2 server. It's just uncool.

I think it does technically have HLstats installed, but the only time you'll notice it is when their occasional chatbox announcements make comments about their scores being wiped. Mics aren't entirely common, but there are a few regulars that have them and there's usually a decent amount of teamwork, and generally people play instead of trade.

The owner is a friendly guy and occasionally hosts "Drunk <day of the week> night" which he encourages those of legal age to drink and play tf2 to have a good time. Trolling/griefing is a bannable offense, and it's hosted in the western part of the US.
Fester's Place is a nice little community, great sports the lot of them.
