just turn on damage numbers and keep track of how much damage you've done
That's what I said and I got 8 dumbs. :wtc: My internet self esteem has been ruined.
like one of these :smug:
Wait, then you'd give scoots power levels OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND! It's really, truly unnecessary. Scouts don't need this ability. Like that other guy said, they would become more like spies, sit in the shadows and snipe people. But scouts make poor spies. Very poor spies. And the Revolver rules.
Scouter wouldn't work, that'd need to go with his earpiece and what if they were wearing sports shine? We were thinking something along the lines of sunglasses that made the scout look tough, and then name it something like "the bully" or something (because with it you could go after weakened opponents only). And for those who say "SCOUT DOESNT NEED THIS", it would be the choice of the player if they wanted to give up their secondary slot for this. I think it would be a cool addition to the class, for those scouts that barely use their pistol or bonk and would like a bit more information before they run in.

It has to fit the character, and the abbility. I'm thinking "Boston Bouncer's shades". But i know nothing of Boston or if it even has bouncers at their clubs/Partys.
If it wasn't pinpoint, not giving exact numbers, just "This guy has somewhat low HP".

Or Heavy. Or Pyro. Or Sniper. See where I'm going with this? You could argue for this ability for any class and say it's a useful alternative and you'd be right. There's no reason to give the Scout this ability over any other class, the Scout certainly doesn't need it, and it just plain doesn't fit the character/playstyle of the class. The OP wants it for Scout because with the name "Bathacker" and a Scout avatar I'm willing to bet Scout is his favorite class.
I'd actually like to see the name of the other player. It's not really cheating. At east, I wouldn't consider it.

Do you even play scout?
I'd actually like to see the name of the other player. It's not really cheating. At east, I wouldn't consider it.
IT would be eaiser for griefers though. Target someone you know is bad, Kill them until rage quit, Rinse and repeat.
The scout is the best class for catching up to and picking off wounded players, which this promotes. Do you even play scout?
Picking off enemies you know are at low health isn't hard to do from a distance. Soldiers, demos, and especially snipers could do it easily. It'd be useful as well for knowing which enemies to engage and which to retreat from, which is key to playing Heavy or Pyro. The Scout is very good at enough things already, including killing; he simply does not need an ability like this. (Yet the same could be said about the sandman's stun, but that's another discussion)
The pistol's a little too invaluable to consider trading it for the ability. I was thinking maybe something that would go in the misc. slot or something.
Scouter for Scout
IT would be eaiser for griefers though. Target someone you know is bad, Kill them until rage quit, Rinse and repeat.
Since when was killing the opposite team griefing?
