This microtransaction system isn't for TF2. It's to give developers the chance to add it, should they want to.

I heard about this on KritzKast and Steamcast. I know Valve won't use it.

That is the last straw, TF2 is becoming a MMOFPS, crafting unlockables, the whole lot, what is next... single player games (that would rock though)

I have no problems with TF2 becoming a little more MMO-like, but if they start asking money for hats, I'll have lost my faith in Valve.
