Alright, Im back from vacation, so Im going to do some more work on this. Another problem though: The IG Sniper rifle's barrel is not black, its more of a dark gray, as are the bits bettween the scope and the gun itself (The laser mount and scope mount) I have no problem with the barrel being black, but having the laser/scope mount be black might look a little wierd, so here are my options: -Leave the barrel black, and paint the laser/scope mount black to match (I would prefer this, as I wouldnt have to potentially screw up the only barrel I have with a retarded paintjob, I can always make another scope mount/ laser mount) -Try to find the right shade of gray, and repaint the barrel, and paint the laser/scope mount the same color (This would be the most true-to-form, but finding the right color is going to be a pain in the ass, and if I screw up, I dont have another barrel to use) What does FP think? Im probably going to leave it black, and paint the scope/laser black as well, but I wanna hear what you guys think.
I think you should find a proper grey colour.
I think you should just leave them black. It's just a color, and it's not worth potentially ruining the barrel.
Someone make a flamethrower or Minigun.
Awesome craftsmanship. I suck at cutting wood and stuff :crying:

I say make a place holder barrel from some paper or something and try to find a nice grey
just take a generic gray it'll be better than black
Find a grey if you can. What you'd want to do is not paint the entire barrel (or even paint the barrel itself) until you've found the right colour. Hell, you could even throw some primer on it, find something else to put primer on, and work with a primer coat. It might be a little more costly, but you'd be able to really get a great colour.
Now make a cigarette case that could be fitted with an Itouch or Iphone

Take it to a school
This looks great.
The stock, or the wooden brace on the scope? Because the stock is actually quite smooth, but still slightly angular. Ill try to get a better picture.
The stock, make it abit more round and it should be fine :)
The stock, make it abit more round and it should be fine :)
Yeah, you're right. Too bad my power sander died, so I wont be able to do it for a while D: Updates (No pictures for now, probably later) -Scope is coming along, I painted it, and will attach the loopy wire thing after the paint dries -I THINK I found the right shade of gray for the barrel and mounts, Ill see how it looks later.

Also yay for the grey!

Thats a pretty close grey actually, good work.
I'd say a little bit darker, but that looks great regardless.
The grey makes it look cartoony, like the real art style. Splendiforous.
Crappy picture of the scope The flash absolutely BUTCHERED the color in this photo, so try to ignore the colors. This photo was more to show the progress of the wire thing, which I think is coming along nicely.
Oh man I want to play with that gun SO FUCKING BAD.
This is going to be awesome.
:downsbravo: This is going to rock. :gbsmith:
Wave goodbye to ye head, wanker.
You should wear shoes outside, your tootsies will get a chill. Regardless, this faux sniper is radicool.
Awesome job so far! :D
