I think very differently about this. I find the Shortstop to be incredibly OP, even without the slowing it's supposed to have.

I find it fun. The downside of it sapping your Pistol ammo is good enough. Though perhaps the reload might need to be a TAD longer

I use it all the time. Like, in its current state I'm never going back to scatter gun. Oddly enough I hardly ever get killed by it.

Yesterday I was spying and had the eternal reward out, a heavy and medic couple were going up the stairs past the second point in badwater, I stabbed the heavy while the medic wasn't looking, and the medic turned around, healed me, and followed me.

The one thing I don't see is how the Black Box relates to the whole Tank Buster thing. -1 rocket isn't going to help you take down sentries, which the bonus effect encourages you to do!

It is a bit strange. But the idea behind the tank buster equipment is to make the Soldier into more of a tank himself. Resisting damage and getting health back again.

Those moments are awesome, too bad the weapon is so incredibly situational that the old knife is just more useful in the long run.
Summed: If you want to play for fun, use the ER, but if you want to get a good score, use the Basic Knife.

That's how you load a real Nagant. There's no flip out cylinder. I know it's mainly for gameplay reasons, but it still bugs me.
