I feel sorry for Valve honestly. The Halo was meant to be taken as a joke to those who decided to not idle. The community is so enraged about this and some people who do have Halos are so full of themselves about it that it's causing the TF2 community to tear itself apart. There are servers that are kicking/banning people with Halos. There are servers that are kicking/banning people WITHOUT Halos. There are Halo free servers. There are Halo only servers. Medics aren't healing people with Halos. Medics are only healing people WITH Halos. Some server admins are using a plug-in that removes Halos from people. This update is a disaster and I'm sure Valve had no intention into making the community this enraged to the point of it tearing itself into tiny pieces. TF2 is seriously turning into an unenjoyable experience really. No one really plays for fun anymore. They are obsessed with getting hats, enraged over people with Halos and are frustrated that their stuff is getting taken away. And those people like me who don't really give a damn about the whole Halo ordeal end up getting stuck with idiots who do. I either end up not getting healed or getting kicked and banned from servers for not having a Halo. It's ridiculous. If Valve doesn't do something, TF2 won't be enjoyable for very long.

Maybe if cheaters stopped being so proud of themselves, admit they were wrong, and don't do it again. It'll simmer down.

It's people like you who think having a couple of polygons floating above their head makes them the better person. Go read that post you skipped over and see why we aren't actually cheating. We had the same chances of drops as a normal player, we had the same systems, just different methods. Idiling never gave anyone a advantage. So people need to stop claiming it did.

Also, calling idlers cheaters is just adding more fuel to the fire. You're not helping.

But, by using the idle program they aren't playing the game. Yet they're still getting items. Granted you get items for doing nothing when you actually play but still. By using the idler you aren't playing the game.
