A lot of people have CS 1.6, but hold out because it's a good game and someone will pay at least 5 refined for it. I've sold 2 extra copies I had, the first for 2 vintage hats, and the second copy for a level 100 UHHH axe (which I sold for >$10).

use a reputable middleman for the love of god
also make sure to check that it is the REAL middleman, and not an imposter (for example lets say you use Trell and his steam id is /id/trellukcs, scammers have been known to change their ids to /id/trelllukcs)
Frisk, they're just telling you to watch out. Be careful with whom you are trading with, because there are a lot of scammers around. And since you're offering a pretty valuable item, you're taking a big risk.
Remember, never send the item first. If the other guy doesn't want to send the game first, you'll have to find a middleman. A trusted one.

Ok, that reply turned out weird I think I hit edit by mistake- the gist is that I made a legit trade this morning without a middleman- I am trustworthy, though new here, and I would really like to trade eets
