By honest, I mean, getting goods with money you earned yourself instead of getting them by paying with hats. You can't go to the supermarket and pay your groceries with virtual items. That's what I meant, maybe "honest" wasn't the best word, I'm sorry.
And yes, I noticed you lost games, which you didn't get with your own money. I'd be pissed if I lost games that I paid with my own money. Yes, it sucks you suddently lost your games that you acquired with virtual items that showed up in your virtual backpack by an external force, and I'm sorry to know that, but shit happens. You have the right to be pissed, but it won't solve anything.
Because virtual headgear and videogames in digital format are the reason of life, right? I'm not defending him, I'm defending the sanity of this fucking thread :v:
You guys went all full retard in a matter of hours, that's all
But fine, I'll go be Batman somewhere else

DUH
No need for screenshots. I can easily give account info. I already did with one person.
I did not make everything revoke on purpose, when card company went in, they done this.
I'll try to talk to the owner and have him call company but i'm not sure how much that would help.
Why were you using his card, do you have your own card or not?
Why were you using his card, do you have your own card or not?
Hes retarded and couldnt use his own
Sorry man, you'll need more stuff. I want Skyrim too, I think I have enough items, but I'm gonna get it the good old way. I'll finish this design project, and with the payment I'll get the game myself. Can't wait. Feels good to get your stuff in a honest way.
I know, it feels good to earn the money through working (yay for being old), but it feels even better using that money for other things and getting the thing you want for free ;D
Alright i'm getting back into the trading scene here for a while. While i make no promises, i will try and help you guys get your stuff back.
I lost my GTA Pack, but most of the stuff from the pack I already had on CD and the one's I downloaded before they got removed from my STEAM, still work... :/
I'm still looking to trade my unusual big country (tf logo) for MW3.
I don't play engineer really, I don't want another hat for it either and I don't know if it's overprice for the hat.
will a bill's get me payday:TH?
Will nobody buy Far Cry 2?
I'm really disapointed in MisterSollyDoe's attitude towards this whole situation.
You have a responsibility to ensure everyone you trade with gets their end of the deal. You should have spoken with your father about what limits were set on his card beforehand. Steam's stance on chargebacks are often strict and it's not wise to handle others money in this manner.
All hindsight of this situation won't help however. Right now you should be the one trying the hardest to solve the situation at hand. You are the faulty link in this whole issue. You shouldn't give up consulting Steam or the bank because they are the ones who set the policy. I know it's really difficult to get either of these parties to reverse the cancellations.
I don't care if you're broke right now and you lost access to your account. Accountability is a trait of adulthood and you should learn it if you're going to be calling other people children. Even if you can't pay everyone back right now you should be looking at ways to do so. Even if you have to take a whole year to save up money and collect hats it's better than pouting about how you lost your account and stating you won't be able to give anything back.
In the most dire of circumstances Steam Support may never return anything back to normal. The games most likely won't be returned unless the payment conflict is resolved. Now if Steam isn't able to help anyone all responsibility falls on you MisterSollyDoe. You could just dissapear from the internet but you'd better hope to never let anyone know of your new assumed persona after this.
Why were you using his card, do you have your own card or not?

They already refused to give a refund of items to me, so I think it's distinctly possible steam won't do anything. The only other solution is Solly paying his debt, a shocking suggestion.

Guys the Skyrim copy i lost from Solly Doe was returned by steam support <3
I was told they never return games as they are out on the money from people doing charge backs, that they only give the items back.
so that is weird
Guys the Skyrim copy i lost from Solly Doe was returned by steam support <3
What kind of info did you provide to them? Also, how long did it take to get a response?
How much would this backpack be worth?
Hey neat, I spontaneously got Red Orchestra 2 back! Thanks Valve! (Unless solly paid or something)
Did you get a support response or something?
Nope, they said no refunds in the support ticket. This is completely out of the blue. They'd closed the ticket and everything.
It just appeared?
Wait, never mind we did get a response, forgot that it wasn't just me.
Was there something about returning your games?
Is it normal not getting a support response now, when I sent a ticket on Friday?
