Well, i'm fine with being a mann-conomy idiot as it has made me about 1k+ Dollars. I bought my buddy a video card numerous games and other things. So call me an idiot all you want
You managed to get $1000 just by selling virtual cosmetic items for a video game (that probably will only last for another 2-3 years) This is a very sad world we are living in. EDIT: Regardless, my life isn't pathetic enough that I have to exploit stupid kids on the Internet out of their poor money management. I just wanted to get Skyrim because I didn't feel like spending $60 this month. I really hate what people are doing, this is purely just scamming and its disgusting. I don't want to be part of the problem because I know, later down the line, these people are going to realize how STUPID they are for spending a shit ton of money on virtual items for a game that, inevitably, will die off over time.

Who cares about the stupid prices of TF2 items? Skyrim is more than worth it, great fucking game.

Doesn't happen buddy, literally one man's trash will always be another mans treasure - but this argument is really retarded. On another note, have: Want: Offers of stuff and things. Buyout a bills I guess? http://steamcommunity.com/id/sgt_haTRED

However, games do, and TF2 is not, nor will it ever be, an exception of that rule.
Real life collecting is different; that never dies. However, games do, and TF2 is not, nor will it ever be, an exception of that rule.
There is no difference between physical and digital items when it comes to a buy and sell market. If someone places value on an item, it has value, regardless of whether you can hold it in your hands or not. Short of Valve literally deleting tf2 and all related content off the face of the internet, there isn't going to be some incredible day of clarity when all the high tier hat traders eyes' gloss over and they say 'My god, they are just PIXELS....and POLYGONS!' It's like arguing that games on your steam account have no value because you don't have a box/game/disc. People get enjoyment out of them, and therein lies their value. [SUB] Also, to re-iterate, this argument is retarded - nobody is right or wrong, just enjoying different perspectives on the same subject matter.[/SUB]
Keys are about 1.80 to 1.90
Damn, been out of trading for a few weeks, easily went for $2 then. Thanks for the tip. I'm guessing 1 key + 1 reclaimed is around $2 now then? That's what I'm offering if it is.
Keys are about 1.80 to 1.90
So? You're supposed to sell stuff under the price of what's on Steam/Retail.
So? You're supposed to sell stuff under the price of what's on Steam/Retail.
I'm just saying he's asking to much for his key. And when people buy keys it's usually in bulk unless it's a great deal.
~ Snip ~ Quick and easy trade. I'm surprised how fast I managed to get it.
I'm just saying he's asking to much for his key. And when people buy keys it's usually in bulk unless it's a great deal.
A key worth $1.90, asking for something worth $1.99, is asking too much?
