If it has DE it means it's the german version (it's censored, as in, low violence)

In the low violence version, heads don't explode, and there are no dismemberments, stuff like that. If you shoot a monster in the head (a successful headshot), his head won't disappear, but it will be displayed as funny looking, as if he broke his neck. And the head will look like a bag hanging around.
