I just though he bought a cheap skyrim key his profile was all good rep and steam rep was good, so I traded him. I now need a middleman or they go first when trading something out of steam.

As Not_Yet said steam comment rep is something I wouldn't trust, it's too easy to fake. Also as far as using a middleman, none of them should really middleman a trade involving cd-keys. I know it's one of the things I and other steamrep middlemans never middleman for as there is no way to prove who used the key if there is a problem with it as the buyer may have used it for a different account/sent it to a friend to use through steam chat, or the seller may have already used it. The only real use for a middleman these days is for trades involving cash. There is always a risk involved with trading for cd-keys and should only be done with people you completely trust as they can always reclaim the key afterwards anyway if they have proof of purchase anyway.
