Trading a team colored, named and described bill's hat for terarria.
There are people out there who say and think Bill's Hat isn't worth 10 bucks anymore (who decides this kind of shit, anyway?)
I think it would be better to add something to that Bill's, like refined metal, I don't know, so you can raise your chances of finding someone interested. Just some friendly advice.

Well I sure feel like an idiot. I certainly should have checked the Scammer list before I traded with Crazy Frog, I was blinded by my desire for Terraria :smith:. Oh well, the trade still stands if anyone has Terraria.

I'm usually significantly more cautious when it comes to trades like this. But my friend keeps talking about how fun the game is and on his profile it said the usual "This guy is trusted" etc.
I didn't want to wait, so I didn't bother to check if this person was trusted or not.

Comments in profiles can be easily forged. And always ask the game first, if you don't want to be scammed. I honestly would never trust a guy who says "me want bill". If he also said "me tarzan you jane" I wouldn't be surprised.
If none of both parties want to go first, you should try to find a middleman. But then again, there are also fake middlemen who belong in the scam. So you'll have to make sure you get a trusted middleman.
The owner of the items should ask the game first.
If the guy who sends the game first gets scammed (doesn't get his items), he can always ask Steam Support to cancel the gift and claim he meant to send it to someone else. And he then can send the game to someone else.
If the guy who sends the items first gets scammed (doesn't get his game), Steam Support won't do shit and he'll never get his items back.

Oh btw, you people should report everyone who scams you. You won't get your items back, but if a scammer is reported many times, and if he really is a scammer, eventually he'll get what he deserves: a ban.
