Meet the Beginners!
The world animation for rappelling down the rope should definitely be scout holding his bat upwards to slide down the zipline.
I gotta admit watching those scouts fall to death was quite funny :D even though I would probably fall all the time myself. But uhh... I think when scout knocks the door open (first person view) you see his shoulder way too much. It looks like scout didn't have bones or something.
If I can say something, I think that one good gamemode would be a time-trial. Race against your friends for the first place

YAY FOR ROBIN! (Intro and outro animation to wallrunning needs a bit of work)
there is no intro and outro animation for wallrunning :v:
The scout looks girly without socks.
there is no intro and outro animation for wallrunning :v:
That probably explains why it needed work...
Is the scout model modified? And, is it hexed?
Falling animation should be Round Lose anim.
Is the scout model modified? And, is it hexed?
\ Please read the thread. It is using MaxofS2D's custom scout which can be downloaded on his website. The skin is not public atm.
are the custom maps for this made with hammer scripting or specific entities, or can we just make some? I'd love to try.
the christ is hammer scripting? It involves a few specific entities but I'll make a tutorial on it all later on
the christ is hammer scripting? It involves a few specific entities but I'll make a tutorial on it all later on
I think he means about the custom fgd file that can be put into any game or mod to add additional entities. I'm not entirely sure.
I think he means about the custom fgd file that can be put into any game or mod to add additional entities. I'm not entirely sure.
He's saying if there's any entities that are needed to make a map for this gamemode or if you can just make a map for it and call it a day. But seeing Mecha has already confirmed there are some special entities (Unless by specific he means something completely different), I assume there is indeed a custom fgd required.
I remember that one video a while back when someone created an animation as if they played mirror's edge as the scout, and now we can finally play it.
the christ is hammer scripting? This is looking really good! You nailed the art style. Did you use custom shaders or something? It looks kind of more glowy and blurry than regular TF2, which I really like.

Hmmm. Real interesting. I think in this were integrated into a full TF2 game mode to make a play style more akin to brink's use of terrain and movement that could be very interesting and a lot of fun. It would probably require small rework of most of the classes though.
