If he doesn't, Max and Reb would both have solid grounds for a lawsuit. That is, unless they signed a contract saying he would own all of their material, which I would highly doubt.

Oh baby, I sure do wonder what would happen if we (along with AyesDyef for the femscout) asked for a share of the donations that Mecha got thanks to our work. $300 in less than a month (back in November, I think?). I know someone in a pretty bad living condition who could sure use the money (hint: it's rebb)

tl;dr from what I understand:
Max makes neato shit for SLAG gaming
Max makes super-sweet giant Fallen Angel, wants to use it on SLAG gaming
Mecha says "no its too big peeps already gotta download shittons of fuck" (filesize is actually very small since its just the model file)
Max optimizes plenty of SLAG files then asks Mecha to put the wings on again. Mecha still says "No."
Eventually they do get on, Max asks him to only give the wings to himself and Rebeccus (AKA crator of nekked tf2 dudes) since she was a pretty big part in getting femscout back on SLAG gaming
Mecha gives it to Tristy (His internet girlfriend?) instead
Max gets mad
Mecha goes "WELP TOO BAD"
