That actually sounds like fun. I support this. I imagine RED defending an intel carrier as he moves across a map and BLU team would attack (in true attack/defend fashion). There might have to be multiple intels you'd have to carry back and forth, with only one designated carrier. That way the map didn't end in 1 minute.
Perhaps if the VIP killed someone, he could instantly respawn teammates around him or something. Just to make sure he didn't have to just cower in a corner every time even one BLU ran up, and he'd have some incentive for actually participating.
The guards might need buffed health or something though. Also, they'd only be able to spawn in designated places (except for when the VIP gets kills), so that they didn't either 1. have to chase him down from the beginning of the map or 2. get spawned midair or in a wall or something (I originally imagined a "bubble" that followed the VIP that guards could spawn in, but could cause issues).
BLU would also obviously need designated spawn points.
We could also/alternatively do a dual-VIP battle, where there's one intel at a time and each team fights for possession, and must carry it to the end. Imagine the current combat mode on Points, but with one intel and one other "player" the VIP would have to chase after to cap it.
