- Works like a shotgun, but shoots six nails that have a slight arc
- Nails fix buildings upon contact, when all six nails hit it will heal a building roughly as much as a wrench swing
- Does less damage
- destroys sappers (?)
- Other changes (smaller clip, fires slower/faster) if needed
This is the best one I've come up with as of yet. It would give the Engineer a bit more freedom to move around without changing things too much.

Ubercharges don't need any nerfs. I think they need to remain as one of the sole things that can lead a team into victory. Same reason the Sandman's Uber-stunning was removed.
Also, a rivet gun would be really cool if done in the TF2 "Haphazardly-turned-into-a-weapon" style.

It can be used to keep your sentry alive for longer if an invinicble demoman come screaming round the corner making you sentry effectivly null from that point.

And sentries already have a knockback on the bullets. If there's enough sentries, one ubercharge won't hold unless combined with a kritz.

I like this idea. It's not an offensive weapon, and suits the engineer pretty well. I could fit with the .44 idea, small mag so the engi can't defend a hallway alone.
