I don't think it's really a good idea to sell advantages like that; not everybody has easy access to a credit card, and the rich kid could easily buy all the advantages he needs to dominate the battlefield. This leaves most other players in the dust with little to work with. Look at what happened with Battlefield Heroes, that's a good example of how it ended up as a plutocratic battlefield. (Plutocrat = Rule of the rich. Plutocratic battlefield = the rich kick errybody's asses)

Nah nah, Valve should just keep to just selling hats and the weapons one can still easily get from random drops. Cosmetics don't give any real advantage; they're just fashion items and status symbols, and that's the way they should keep rollin'.
