Whatever Valve is doing with TF2 be it right or wrong ethically, they managed to make a great game which could become a F2P and still generate revenue because its a game with depth, that's the difference with other big publishers who wish to make a F2P game but know they would fail with their standard blockbuster game, TF2 is better then that.
