Doesn't work.
Tried 'getpos' in console so that I got the coordinates, then moved around a bit with the camera, and tried:
'setpos 30.447836 651.060608 137.307968;setang 11.219967 -23.320110 -0.000013'
But nothing happened.
Remove setang.
Playing CS:S instead.

only if LAN, otherwise /whip
Remove setang.
Well no.
If it's a camera location surely he wants the angle too.

Yes but you put that in in a different context field
No.
setpos;setang will work.
It does setpos then setang.
That's what the ; is for.
Congratulations, we've nearly filled up a page and a half of search results or something. :toot:
Okay this video took a while.

Yeah in the console, not sure why they are doing it in there when there is a context menu for the cameras where you can input both cords and angle :/

Very good, How big was that file do you know?
What's with the relentless spam of stuff you can do in the original game?
Seriously at least use Source FilmMaker for something interesting.

I guess it's because we don't have much knowledge about the tool so we want to try simpler things first.

Its still a very small group of people who knows how to use this. And so far we've learned how to save HOURS of organizing and inviting people, explaining and recording a scene for a small film. Thanks to this, we can skip all that and use this tool and make a small film in less then 20 min.
Seriously dont talk about this like its nothing :/
This is a huge step forward for machinama makers. Imagine what you can do with several ppl using this tool (what Im about to do with my friend)
It seems you can't record spies uncloaking, for some odd reason.

With the official release, we'll probably be able to use those effects, and possibly the disguise heat thing as well. To my knowledge, there was never a spy seen cloaking or uncloaking in the Meet the Team videos. Valve probably never had use for visually supporting the function.

How did you do that camera movement thing?
Also, tiny soldier viewmodel?
How did you do that camera movement thing?
Record only the camera thingies in the record dialog.
Also, to Fearlezz - you should just remove the moving door entirely, it's just as plausible.
Little bit too shaky i think Fearlezz

I don't understand how I can overlay two "playthroughs" :(

When you untick the player model in the sequence, your arms get stuck that the point in time where you unticked it.

Record over it (check the proper boxes) - if you Zoom In the clip you'll see multiple component tracks of models and things that are overlaid together.

Hunt through the model track for it and exterminate, I suppose.

Which boxes?

All of the checkboxes in the Record dialog that claim to Record something add to a track group labeled "Take n" within your shot if you zoom in. You may only want to select some components - i.e. the World and Sounds if you've already got your camera set.
Hubman you got your exporting working? Try to reinstall with all patches like I did.
Not to video yet, but I've managed to upload several videos to YouTube through VirtualDub.
Have you had any luck with video?
Yeah I exported these two that I made via video. Whats your youtube name, wanna see yours :)
