This just might work. Pretty slow video, but gives some pretty good commands, and tells you how to run VCDs on models in TF2 (w/o bots). Might work, haven't tried it.

Fairly simple but there's not much I can do as I'm working on a laptop that requires the uses of an apparatus that's powered by unicorn souls in order for it to run games.

This is not a puppet! This is simply a dynamic entity. You can do anything with a dynamic entity. And everything he showed in the video can be done in the SFM so much easier.

I am not happy at all with the way this turned out. Custom animations using the animator are too tough. I think I'm gonna wait until people can get it to work in Maya to use custom animations.

go to tf/scripts/talker
inside are some links between the voice commands and the VCDs that supply their animations/voices. Just put the custom VCD in tf/scenes/player/*class*/low, and change something like the "Response PlayerDispenserHere" to the path of the new VCD. then, ingame, just go to the speech menu and hit the need a dispenser command, and we get the custom animation instead.
I have no custom VCDs, and don't have the SDK working. Just a thought.

not sure if anyone knows this or not but
right-click time line and select add new track group
name it whatever
right-click the new track group and click insert track
choose effects, hit open, and name it
right click the track you made and click add clip
choose hsl grain effect and hit open
instant film grain
That's how I got the music into my videos.
Color correction sounds good, though. It seems like you have to create the RAW files with the color correction UI, although that's going to be a bit of an issue when none of the maps have color correction off the bat.
Wait, adding a color_correction entity by hand with ent_create does work.
