I've tried multiple times:
0 sec to 9 sec
and 2 sec to 9 sec.
Hmm, did you save your session?

On an unrelated note,
has anyone been able to fix the water from having missing cubemaps?
Unrelated again, but just playing around with animation editor:

looks like the engineer finally got his head out of his ass and decided to do something
My meet the pyro fake:

I might decide to make this a fully fledged fake Meet the Team.
IT MAY BE CRAPPY QUALITY, IT'S STILL PROCESSING
I like how the spy looks up without looking up.
Aha! Fixed the missing cubemaps! Just had to load up the map in GCFscape, extract the cubemap textures, hex-edit them to 7.3, then load up Pakrat, remove the existing cubemap textures, add the 7.3 ones, and save the BSP. Woohoo!
Got an idea for something to do, but it's late and I'm tired....
I hate it when this happens because I usually fail to pull it off if I wait.
Well, if you record some demos while playing, gives you some easier ways to have the actors interact instead of trying to time deaths and explosions...
You can record with the SFM directly on multiplayer. Ive done it. I did it with my friend, it worked perfectly.
Just make sure you both have the same patches installed before creating a server.
I feel like adressing my problems starting the beta. With all the parameters added, and all the tools dll's in their right place, I still can't make it work.
And yes I loaded it up first with the -game tf -applaunch 440 parameters only.
Somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Is it because I'm using 64-bit Vista?
Make sure that the tool .dlls are installed in Team Fortress 2/bin not Team Fortress 2/tf/bin.

You also need a -tools I believe.

Possibly. As far as I can tell, steamEmu doesn't have a 64-bit version, while revEmu does...and this uses steamEmu.
it works fine in 64bit.
Completely unrelated question:
If anyone has a good mic and has a good British accent or knows someone like that, I'm in need of their services.

I'm British and have a mic..
What do you require..
To narrate a nature documentary. Got a sample of your voice I could hear?
To narrate a nature documentary. Got a sample of your voice I could hear?
Not at the moment..
It's probably not best for a Nature Documentary.
Well you have a British voice so OF COURSE it's best for a nature documentary.

I needed a british voice for my spycrab documentary.

Here are some of the “posters” ive managed to make: :)
http://filesmelt.com/dl/battle2.jpg
http://filesmelt.com/dl/demoman.jpg
http://filesmelt.com/dl/heavy1.jpg
http://filesmelt.com/dl/scoutrun.jpg
Ive also managed to get puppets to interact, sort of :) (see the battle one) using bots as secondary players.
I also have an idea for a little video which I will be working on soon and one to upload, which I will post a link to when done.
Enjoy.

How did you set their material as uber? Isn't there a command for it? Like Ent_fire !picker set_skin 2?

Like i said, I am playing the medic and just Ubered a bot, kicked him then recorded all the other players on blu :) added 32x dof and 64x motion blur, the top one took 1 hour to render :)

i posted a tutorial for this like 3 or 4 days ago... but good job figuring it out on your own.
