I can't zoom in in the SFM.
benny hill;19987590']This is why Source Filmmaker needs a wiki ;)
You're doing great work by posting on your blog, but I think a wiki-style layout would be easier to navigate for people who are getting started using this.
Granted, I think the blog is pretty much mandatory for posting videos and new developments, so I'm not suggesting stopping that, but as for actually getting all the information in an organized way, a wiki would work better.
If your problem is the lack of hosting, I don't think our clan would have a problem with donating a subdomain to the cause (I can safely say this since I'm one of the leaders), and I could set up a wiki. Of course, a subdomain isn't ever the best strategy but it would help keep the info organized better.
Just let me know if you're interested and I can get something set up.
I already have a wiki ready to go. You simply need to create a section for SFM and enter in the info from there:

Anyone knows how to fix that? Reviewmad has permabans so he asked me to ask here.

I assume you're doing maintenance? I'm getting a 403 Forbidden error.
If that gets fixed, I'd love to help get some pages on SFM started.

Just to clarify: It WAS working last night, and I made myself an account.

Oh whoops, I didn't renew that domain. It'll have to wait for awhile, I'm broke :(

Hmm so should I set up (maybe temporarily) a wiki on sourcefilmmaker.qtclan.com ?
(I suppose you could click "agree" if you think it's a good idea)
Go for it.

CBaseEntityList::AddNonNetworkableEntity: no free slots!
it keeps coming after I recorded some time, and now if I want one to explode or kill then SFM crash
Hi again, guys. I set up a wiki on http://sfmwiki.qtclan.com , if you want to begin to compile information on there.
I hope this will be useful for new users to get information about using SFM.
any idea how to hide the hologram over a point
removing it makes the game crash
cool edit, myself
i got it
look at the hologram and type ent_fire !picker hidemodel in the console
EDIT: THE SEQUEL

any idea why this is black
yes i fixed the texture but obviously something went wrong
edit: the washed out series
it's because $yellow was in the vmt and it didn't exist until the sniper/spy update
just remove it from the vmt and it will work
i don't usually kill errors this fast

First render, or video, clip?
whatever you want to call it.
Anyone else having a problem getting the game to run fullscreen? I have -window and -noborder but won't adjust properly, the bottom part of the screen gets cut off and it lags because the window is outside the parameters. Manually dragging the window up just pops it back down. I'm running windows 7

If you want it to run fullscreen, remove the -window and -noborder commands from the command line. I can't remember the command to force fullscreen right off the top of my head, but it exists.
[editline]04:07PM[/editline]
Just checked, replace -window -noborder with -full or -fullscreen.

Anyone try to put the IFM dlls into your steam Tf2 directory so we can use the new weapons, unlocks, etc? I tried but the editor doesn't come up, only the "commentary editor."

How do I get SFM to render out to a widescreen resolution? I choose 720p but it just keeps it square. I want it widescreen :saddowns:
Haha, some of the videos here are just hilarious.
How do I get SFM to render out to a widescreen resolution? I choose 720p but it just keeps it square. I want it widescreen :saddowns:
you have to be using a widescreen resolution
on top of that it has to be at least 720p
Is it normal to take hours to export 20 seconds worth of footage?

If you have both motion blur and DoF activated, then yes
Has anyone successfully managed to get this thing working using another game? I'm not talking about stuff like the heavy running around the City 17 canals shouting random insults. Has anyone managed to, say, get a playable version of the SFM running using another game's player set up, like CSS, DoD, ect.?
