I just made mine as a bmp. Sometimes you might need a vtf.

so save it and name it a .bmp? or .vtf?

Try bmp. that is what i use. If that not works try name it vtf. If THAT not works try download vtfedit or what the name is.

I got it! :neckbeard: but it seems to lag horribly just as I put it in, heh.
