yea, the festives would be cool with their own kill icons
The icons themselves are quite easy and quick to make, getting them to work properly ingame and releasing it took me 4 days so far :v:

Ok, I´m going to explain what I do, so you can see if I do anything wrong:
1-Step: The model is in the right position, in order to fit the flaregun´s bones
2-Step: I assign this vertex to this bone (weapon_bone):

3-Step: I assign this vertex to this bone (weapon_bone2). This is the part that is supposed to move in order to load the shell:

4-Step: Those vertex to weapon_bone3 (the trigger):

5-Step: The last vertex group to the last weapon_bone(4):

Then, i check they are correctly assigned (they are), and check if it´s like the flaregun model (it is). Bones correctly assigned. Weapon_bone_L is not assigned to anything, i checked it in the flaregun´s model. Then i use the flaregun´s QC. file, but deleting everything about LODs, and nothing else. I modify the data in order to fit my model, I compile it, and when i check it in Model Viewer it is all meshed up.
Does anyone know why with all this info?

I feel that they shouldn't as really the festive items is just like having a hat on the default weapon.
It isn't like a reskin weapon, atleast they are completely different visually, but these are just an extra model added onto the default model that has the exact same stats.

When you export it as an smd, open the smd in notepad++ and post the first 10 or 15 lines here
the item schema treats them as a reskin :x

It probably would have to due to the attachments & team colours, but my point still stands.
Eh, not really. Every other different looking weapon has it's own killicon. If you applied the festive lights to the original items then I'd agree, but nah.

Multiple designs of the item. I'm personally swayed towards having the bottom right corner be the final incarnation of the item, but I'm leaving it open for critiques from people know know better than I do. If you like this idea, rate me with Agrees.
