They're creepy as fuck. and the hat/misc doesn't fit tf2 in it's current stage.

The mask is indeed creepy, but I don't think it's worse than Foster's Facade, Steel Jaw of Summer Fun or the Unarmed Combat. The axe is a perfectly normal firewood-chopping axe, which shouldn't in itself be creepier than the Fire Axe. The name is meant to imply the disemboweling of firewood (for the discerning hater of trees), but should perhaps have been formulated in a better way.

That reminded me that I always wanted hats to fall off if they were hit by bullets or the blastwave from a rocket hitting/sticky detonation next to you. Not to make the game super realistic or anything, but personally I think it'd be a nice detail. Anyone ever imagined that?

As much fun as ambient music is, I would not recommend them. The files are so big that when the game goes to loop them, it will almost always crash you unless your computer is a beast.

Is the origin of the model set to 0,0,0? This is just something to try, but maybe, in object mode, click "Object>Apply>Rotation & Scale" then click "Object>Apply>Location". That will set all rotations to 0 degrees without messing with their rotations, will set all scales to 1 without messing with the size, and it will set the origin of the whole model to 0,0,0.
