So no one actually knows how the facial flexes are applied to the All-Father? I thought people would be all over that when it came out to decompile it and see how Valve did it.
Also if that gets ingame I predict a fair amount of closeup gmod shots being made with it, maybe you could afford a few more sides on that hexagon cigar

The seam down the middle is because I'm using mirror and instance to create the two sides. There are smoothing errors because I haven't polished up the geometry yet.

I am afraid this is true. Only Valve knows how to make the facial flexes work with the character, even though the did a shoddy job with the soldier's All-Father.

I'm no programmer, nor a modeler, but perhaps the facial flexes being connected to the attached model is hardcoded? If that's the case, no replacement would work (most likely).
