I just finished my playthrough of Crash Bandicoot 3 as well, and I'd just finished editing the N. Tropy boss fight footage when Jethro linked me to this beauty. Good God, thank you. Yeah, how do i make it use my own killicon instead of the one it's "meant" for?
mod_textures_addon.txt, and /materials/ need to be replaced with your own ones
Open the file NeoDement sent and open the D and Dneg files.
As you can see they are just two colours but if you turn on the Alpha channel you can see the icon appearing as Black n White.
What you have to do to create one yourself is to make an alpha channel basically.
So replace mod_textures_addon.txt, and /materials/.
I can make a tutorial on how I make icons if you want.
Still have to clean up all my shit and release them though.

The closest hat Engineer would have to that would be the Buckaroo's hat, and they have their differences. A boss of the plains hat has a rounded up top, wider brim and a different band. v:v:v
