Why green of all colours?
Plus the promo could be 10,000 times better. Actually having a model viewer image of it would do well, and having the heavy have his actual eyes rather then the heavy texture.
I have the feeling this guy submits half finished stuff to the workshop without waiting for any real critics
A lucky ball and chain necklace. a little worm plushie that goes in the medic's pocket.(doctor worm) a ripped open chest that contains a birdhouse for the heavy (birdhouse in your soul) there's already a purple toupee.. a bat-sized all class melee crane using saxy animations. (they'll need a crane) a scarecrow head for the spy or a mini scarecrow that is tapped to the back of someone's head. (where your eyes don't go) Electric wings (Thunderbird) A statue for the atomizer (The statue got me high) A puppet on each hand for the heavy (Put your hand inside the puppet head)
Got it, I'll see what I can do. Honestly I'll probably end up only doing the ball and chain necklace, the worm plushie, maybe the scarecrow head, possibly the birdhouse one, (Though it'd probably be for more than just heavy, most likely for spy, pyro, and scout as well if I can manage) and that's pretty much it since I can't decompile. I might even submit a few to the workshop.
A while back someone posted a really slick looking switchblade they did. I believe it was done by the same person who did the dual-barreled snubnose revolver? Their name escapes me, but I was wondering if they had released it as a replacement for anything yet or if they're holding onto it for the workshop.
I haven't released any of them but might do with the knife since it has low chances of being approved for game. You can also check out the gun in the Advanced Weaponiser mod.
Thank you so, so much! But yeah, that's what I was worrying about, probably only the wings'ld be able to make it in.
Eh, I guess I'll repost this. Updated to match the glorious emporium.
Holy shit thank you. It actually looks good at fits the art style.
I was playing tf2 today, and someone asked me "How do I craft a selfmade Spy-cicle?" :rolleyes:
Started making a splatter guard for the Medic: Now to... attach it to his head.
The modding tutorials are in the OP twice.
The modding tutorials are in the OP twice.
Fixed, thanks.
Whatever happened to that M1911 (I think) that SVDL was making to replace the Righteous Bison a couple of emporiums ago? It looked finished and everything last time he showed us it and I haven't seen it on the workshop either...
Rather than be a Grinch heres a little early Smissmas present from me to all of you.
I'm still mad these didn't get in game.
Well the thing is I revamped the item quite close to the update so I'm honestly not surprised. Plus how I had it before had some optimization issues, at least to me it seemed. Thankfully its not completely festive themed so it could possibly fit into a future update but thats just me being optimistic :v:.
Does ANYBODY have the source files for Sonya? I'd love to get a hold of Idletard but apparently he's pretty much disassociated himself with everything emporium. I really want to finish up Sonya, but I can't if I can't get a hold of the source files again.
So, how's that progress on the Demoman's Bionicle items? I saw a picture of them in the last Emporium but alas, no progress has been posted. I'd really love to see how you're progressing, whoever you are making them.
Pushing through more LODs and texture improvements on my Pyro Painter Pack. I kinda want to see a mini-Frostmourne or Frostmourne-Homage replacement for the Spy-cicle. Wonder if I should attempt it at least. Or maybe just some kind of techie-knife version of it with a micro-CO2 cartridge somewhere to explain the whole "puts you out and makes you fireproof" aspect of it.

Is there a problem with my qc for making it team colored? It only appears red on either teams $cd "E:\Modeling\Military Demo Hat\output" $modelname "player/items/demo/Artilhat.mdl" $model "body" "Artilhat" $cdmaterials "\models\player\items\demo\" $texturegroup skinfamilies { { "models\player\items\demo\Artilhat.vmt" } { "Artilhatblue.vmt" } }

For instance:
$texturegroup skinfamilies { { "prospector_hat" } { "prospector_hat_blue" } }
Thanks mate!
What they should do is add the roller and hat as a set and when you paint the hat the roller matches the paint color if you wearing it
But what if you have multiple of the hats and paint them different colors, and don't have the same amount of rollers? Huh? Huh?
But what if you have multiple of the hats and paint them different colors, and don't have the same amount of rollers? Huh? Huh?
Why would that matter? The game could just look at the color of the hat that's equipped then use that RGB value and apply it to the roller's vmt. So if you had a purple painted hat, and a green painted hat, if you switched between the hats, it would affect the roller's color as well. No need to make the roller's color permanently linked to the first hat you painted.
