Maybe you should go for a different colour or slightly adjusted one.
It looks too much like his normal suit so it kinda blends and wont be noticeable from a longer distance.
That and add the chefs hat in the next preview :v:

That's the complete opposite of what I'm trying to do. If you look at the light brown shapes on the top drawing, that's were the hands go, it fits the snipers hand positions for his existing smg.

The ammo drum needs to be closer too the back grip to work with the current animations, swap it round with the front grip. Also the back strikes me as being too simular to the defaults, as they're both massive rectangles with a large edge chamfer towards the back.
Finally, it deosn't look that much like a Thompson to be honest, apart from the drum, its just the default smg with a fancy yet uncomfortable front grip; take a look at an actual Thompson, and see if you can work a few more of the defining componants into your design.

Ok, why does my textures not look good (at least for me) when I spread brush strokes like a mad man, even if the doesn´t go for a color too much different from the base one, and yours looks good? Why?

I have been looking at pictures of tompsons. I suppose calling it a 'tommy' was a bad idea. I wanted to take a tommy gun and morph it to match the existing smg. The drum and front grip WERE originally the other way around, but then snipers front hand would have been embedded within the drum. I know this won't fit the reload animation.

His DON'T look good. They look haphazard and garish. It's hard to explain why any of them would be were they are.
You could use the new sideways sten like animation that got added for the sniper.

The individual shapes of those wooden handles are ok, but they look really weird together. It sort of looks like the legs of a guy who's falling forwards.
The most common thing on real tommyguns seems to be having two identical and relatively straight handles, one on each side of the mag. Would such a solution cause massive clipping? Also, the stock is pretty important to make a tommygun look like one, but I guess that would have clipping issues as well. I like the idea, by the way. Tommyguns are neat!

The ammo drum will not work at all with the current animations, you're pretty much restricted to the default 'stick' magazine.

I understand this, but did not want this to hold me back. I thought, if they want it, they may just disable his reload animation. Having it fit in his current hand pose is all I'm worries about.

The colors on it look really flat compared to the pyros colors.

It's extremely restrictive with the idle animation too IIRC, he has quite a firm grip on it.

I'd say for white, at least not the same red as his suit though.
Still it's an improvement and would love to download it when it gets released.
I don't want to change the overall color scheme too much.
