Guess it's really just looking kind of plain, add some interest into it and maybe a normal map; maybe it's the contrast between bow and world making it look a bit strange.

People of the Emporium.
How many mods have you seen since the Workshop went online, that were made and released for the community? I'm not complaining about that, like General Cornwaffle, but do you even realize that this has been a competition for quite a while now? Do you think Ronin makes this stuff for fun? Do you think Sparkwire does not release his stuff because he is an ass? This is a Competition. The Judge is the Valve TF2 team and the sponsors are the people that buy the items. Any modding competition would just be a dicksize comparison, that can be replaced with looking at the number of green-named, sparkly items each one got in his pocket. You all just want to do something, fill the gap of unreleased mods with events, some of you want to be important and some just can't stand the lack of releases.
So people cant host a friendly competition anymore because the workshop is online?
That the whole shitstorm erupted was because people seem to forget that you have to plan things first instead of spewing it about as a hyperactive kid.
Everyone liked Polycount, what the guys now have in mind is something faster paced and way smaller.

In all honesty, I think that the fact that we're arguing over this is a bit silly. If you want to do it, go ahead. If you don't, respectfully say no and then carry on. We don't need drama over silly things (Like cookies,credit,3d glasses,friendly compitions)
And about the community updates being too numerous? We have the big ones like the fancy vs. nasty, Halloween, and medieval, but then we also have smaller, less fancy ones like the cave story, Christmas, and island. If it means more releases, we should be happy for it because that's what we've been missing ever since the workshop.
While we watch from the sidelines on how this unfolds, WE still need a good western themed item for the medic. Any suggestions? Again, cosmetics only (for now) and the usual credit will be acknowledged.
I just don't get the point of tiny competitions, especially without a theme, and if short, the theme should be very specific.
And it's not a competition without a prize, I've just been skimming through the last pages though so that might already have been discussed.
I prefer the themed community updates, there's no real competition there more of a "let's all pitch in and make something worth noticing"
